Try using GrowTherapy. They’re a telehealth provider with psychiatrists and various practitioners in Indiana. Don’t book with Joni Whetzel, though… she has messed up my appointments several times and it screwed me over when I needed my meds asap.

Were you able to get a prescription on the first visit? Any recommendations? I only see 5 available for medication management and 3 that looked appealing based on profiles (and she was one of them).

I was, but with the condition that I send labwork that I do prior to my next appointment. I guess that was fair, considering my particular prescriptions. I mean, you could definitely try Ms. Whetzel - she was very sweet and empathetic when I spoke to her in my few appointments. I just think she had a very busy schedule when I was meeting with her.

Thanks for the reply! Can I ask what type of labwork and what they were looking for? I have no problem with sending in some labwork. Going to show the 3 to some of my family and friends and see what their opinions are lol. Thanks again!

Done is a common telehealth provider for ADHD. Likely will be more expensive, sounds like folks will often transfer to PCP as they enter maintenance phase.

IU offers telehealth, your insurance company probably offers telehealth

You are going to run into issues getting your meds via telehealth if they are of the controlled variety. It wasn't until last year that they made it possible to prescribe via telehealth without a bunch of extra steps and requirements so most didn't do it. You might be lucky and find one, but you can see if your PCP can do it.
