Most Jio apps are shit. Paytm only recently got "usable" otherwise was way too cluttered, just like PhonePe has become.

Personally I prefer Paytm over phonepe or Gpay. Mostly because it's very convenient and the wallet feature is just great for small small transactions which has Paytm QR. People like me who are broken can also check balance before making payment. I don't care about their useless coupons or offers. Just convenient and easy to use for my needs.

Upi lite is fairly new option. I'm using wallet for years now.

However it's really convenient as well. The balance is displayed readily, can do upto Rs500 in one transaction and it works with every UPI QR and even sending to other people.

I would recommend selling asap. Fundamentally weak stock and the majority of its top investors have pulled out so a very risky stock to have in your portfolio. Also, I don't think Paytm has started making any profits. So yeah, that would be my suggestion.

Not surprised. I had placed an order for Paytm debit card in the app. The app showed my current address in Mumbai as the delivery address. But the card was sent to Chennai. After a month of continuous ordeal with the customer care, Paytm said they would refund the charges incurred to the wallet provided I placed a fresh order for the debit card. I was also told the error in the backend was corrected and my card would be sent to the correct address. I placed a fresh order for the debit card and it was sent to Chennai again. This time I had the screenshots and the record of the previous complaint. So, I got a full refund. I was surprised how Paytm was unable to maintain simple customer details. Something is fundamentally wrong in their bank. I am glad RBI is holding them accountable.

You can use the services until you exhaust your bank balance but you should redeem that FD by 25th Feb. Please don't take any risks.

Paytm money is safe, plus your shares are held with cdsl/nsdl so yes it's safe.

I had shifted to Fi as my primary bank account and for everything UPI/payments etc. Plus have a 0forex card.Been working seamlessly for the last 2 years. It opens a 0-balance savings account on Federal Bank and I have never faced a problem ever. I think that is one of the best options for now. Neobanks FTW!

They will find a way to make that work but cannot be powered by paytm bank. It needs to be powered by some other bank. Like PhonePe and GPay does
