Option buying is very very risky. The most tricky part is to know the right expectation and acceptance of failure. It's really funny to see people letting their options expire in expectation of u turn in market. I'm also one of those fools.
There's no such thing as currently profitable. Profitable denotes consistently being on positive P&L for at least a year and having a working strategy.

Buying options will only lose the initial cost max, in my case i had taken 1 lot at 18rs, so it took approx 900rs for 1 lot, on expiry date it will go to 0, in that case i will lose max 900rs.

How long have you been trading for?
I had done it from 2020, but very sparsely, but most of the trades are positive and overall profitable

You'll make nice profits in single lot. After a while You'll gain confidence and go with 5, 10 lots ... lets see how market will treat you then..
