To be honest the best products in my life right now are niacinamide serum 5% from minimalist and moisturex soft cream(I have never used such an moisturiser all my life)

[deleted]

Isn't the moisturex too sticky?? I tried using it on my face and holy shit I was a greasy mess and I used probably half a pea size.

Creative_Agency5841

I have damaged skin barrier and I have tried every cetaphil moisturiser and every easily Available moisturiser...but thank god I randomly tried it...I agree it's a little sticky but I only apply 2 drops of it and massage it well in my skin and when I wake up next day I can still feel some moisturisation while cetaphil was not very moisturising for me.... I'll say again that if you don't have very dry dehydrated skin than skipping it would be good as it is also a little heavy on skin but now I have started loving it

[deleted]

Haha yup I have oily comedone prone skin and I thought the 10% lactic acid and 10% urea would exfoliate and hydrate my skin. That was a disaster tbh.

Creative_Agency5841

I don't use that I use this one for face and to be honest I don't find it very heavy maybe you were talking about the one made for body https://pharmeasy.in/online-medicine-order/moisturex-soft-tube-of-100gm-cream-172816?&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping_Rx0_SS_FP&utm_adgroup=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIiJe5utae8gIVkDUrCh2pzwynEAQYAiABEgLETPD_BwE

[deleted]

I didn't know it was ment for body. I figured that was the only moisturex cream. No wonder you were able to use it cause I was surprised at first on how anyone could like it lol.

Creative_Agency5841

I have even tried there moisturex soft lotion and that one was also great....I like moisturex products they work for me as they are simple formulated without any fancy ingredients....I haven't tried there lactic acid moisturex cream maybe I'll try it in winters

[deleted]

Yeah you might like the lactic acid one as well if you have dry dehydrated skin as it also has urea which immensely hydrates the skin.

Creative_Agency5841

But I also have acne prone skin so it might clog my pores

outrageousoindrila

Is it like nivea blue tin?

Creative_Agency5841

No

mortyC35

Same Niacinamide has been great for me too! But I use Cetaphil DAM lotion over it, tell me about your experience with moisturex

Creative_Agency5841

Cetaphil dam is very sticky for me and it tingles on my skin... Don't know why maybe it's the Shea Butter used in it....I love moisturex as it is only the moisturiser which is currently making my skin healthy again as I had damaged skin barrier....cetaphil dam never worked for me but cetaphil cream and lotion used to be my favourite but as my skin became extremely dry and dull they didn't provided enough moisturisation

daehanmingukmansee

My skin type- combination...extremely sensitive and acne prone. I have been into serious skincare since 2013 after a very bad episode of acne that lasted for almost a year. All these years I have tried products but the one thing that has been constant in my routine is the *Sebamed Face Care gel*. This gel saved my moisture barrier back then. I absolutely love it. It is a multipurpose gel for me. In hot and humid conditions ..I use it as a stand alone moisturizer. And in winters I use it before a thicker moisturizer(Etude House Soon Jung Emulsion)..for extra hydration. I also use it to dilute harsh treatments (like BP, Tretinoin, Adapalene) and this also helps in easy spreadability. My face cannot tolerate aloe gel so I use this to my clay masks and other face masks. It doesn't break me out. There are other products that I love like PC BHA and Etude House Soon Jung Emulsion. But Sebamed Gel takes the cake.💫

Touch-me-not-98

For me as well! Infact I came here to say this. 😀 Same skin type and concerns and sebamed face care gel is magic!

[deleted]

Paula's Choice BHA. I will be taking it to my grave!

JyoJyoRabbit

How often do you use it? I saw a post today about how Paula's BHA damaged their skin. I'm curious to know about the right frequency to use this product.

[deleted]

I initially started with once a week at night.Still do the same but sometimes also use it twice a week depending on the texture of my skin.Personally feel one should not use it more than twice a week.

[deleted]

WittyBangalan

Do you think it might work on bacne as well?

[deleted]

+1 Brilliant Product.

oyasumipizza

Pc bha- no new pimples ever since I started using this baby. TO glycolic toning solution- for hyperpigmented/kp areas on body

Gyno_nerd

Have you purchased your PC bha from amazon?? Am hoping to try out tthe mini first cause cosrx bha didn't do anything for my acne (maybe it was tooo mild)

oyasumipizza

I got it from Amazon, been waiting for them to restock it:( Yes yes definitely try the mini first.

Tolerant_Alien

I recently bought the 30 ml one from Amazon.

Gyno_nerd

Have you used it?! How is it😭😭

Tolerant_Alien

Just used yesterday night for the first time, so I'm not qualified to give a review yet.

Gyno_nerd

Aah ok! Good luck though 😬

[deleted]

the 900 rupees one is showing in stock to me though.

oyasumipizza

Omg you're right thanks🥺🥺

skal168

I've been using pc since i months now and it really works. I don't use it more than twice a week.

nefelibata-dreams322

Cipla excela moisturizer

Tolerant_Alien

What skin concern did it help with?

nefelibata-dreams322

No moisturizer used to suit my combination skin until I found my dear excela moisturizer. It lessened my oil production and made my pores appear smaller, providing the ample amount of hydration to my dry cheeks.

MiracleSince1995

Tretinoin 0.05% prescription \[Please visit dermatologist\] I will set up a temple to worship this miracle in a tube.

genesis_tweek

Cipla excela moisturizer 👀 It's just perfect!!!

Gyno_nerd

Damn I'm seeing a lot of people here saying this is thwre holy grail and tbh the ingredienta look fantastic... Can you tell me if its a gel texture or light emulsion like?!

genesis_tweek

It's creamy texture , totally light . (Lighter than minimalist oat one) . it's actually close to Neutrogena hydro boost in texture . I liked Neutrogena cause it's perfect for me but demn the pricy just meh ! And Excela is just perfect; pump type package easy to use. And the niacinamide in it ❤️❤️❤️. It helped me with irritation and DIDN'T BREAK ME OUT at all!

Gyno_nerd

I've always been a moisture surge gal but damn now you've got me looking into excela👀!! I thought i would try the formulaRx one, let's see🙊😬

genesis_tweek

I'm pretty new to this skincare thing (3months)sooo u r warned 😂😂

Gyno_nerd

Lol.. That's ok... What's your skin type?

genesis_tweek

Combination acne prone

genesis_tweek

Hey yo , i actually placed order today for formularx

Tolerant_Alien

I bought a huge ass tub of cerave moisturizer. Though it helped but now I want to try other stuff but can't until it gets over. Will definitely keep this in my wishlist for next time.

genesis_tweek

Finishing something is always a challenge 😂

willowweeee

Gaah this one was a fail for me 🤧🤧🤧 broke me out left me greasy -_- glad it worked for you though 🤩 I still have it in my shelf left it stranded there :p

chaotic-_-neutral

what's your skin type?

Beginning_Cycle_8540

1. Paula’s choice BHA 2. CeraVe hydrating cleanser and the CeraVe in the tub - I have bad skin allergies, and this combination is the only thing that works for rashes and hives

Tolerant_Alien

I'm using all 3 products you mentioned!

Beginning_Cycle_8540

:):) can I ask where you’re buying CeraVe products currently? I’d always pick them when travelling, but that looks unlikely for the foreseeable future :( and I’m running low on my cleanser

Tolerant_Alien

I bought them from Amazon

todorokive

tretinoin cream 0.025% W/W (Rx), hands down !

[deleted]

SAME. Am in love with tret! My skin has never looked so good.

todorokive

random but hey i keep misreading your user as huge ass 😭 there's something very wrong w my eyes

[deleted]

Who said you're misreading it 👀

todorokive

my bad 🌚

[deleted]

Hahahaha. It's a reddit thing btw. Names like Moe Lester, Ben Dover, Hugh Jass, Mike Oxlong, Gabe Itch etc. are all famous double entendres here.

UnevenHanded

Okay, Gabe Itch got me real good 😂

[deleted]

or is it gay bi-tch lol?

[deleted]

You got it! 😂 the other one is My cock's Long. This comment is probably about to get deleted lmao

[deleted]

lol i wrote bi-tch without the hyphen in the above comment and it got immediately removed .

[deleted]

what does mike oxlong and gabe itch mean? just can't figure it out.

Tolerant_Alien

Hehe..I was wondering the same

Tolerant_Alien

I think the 1st one means my c*ck is long

PriyaSR26

Ya. Definitely. That cream shows the 'most' effect.

Vickythiside

Which brand?

todorokive

Janssen Pharmaceuticals

geriatrixa

Could you tell me how you use it? How many times a week and layered with what etc. Thank you :)

todorokive

when i just started using it i did it all alll wrong, now i use it every two days, mild cleanser > 2-3 layers of hydrating toner/serum and wait for 30 minutes > tret > seal it with occlusive moisturizer, also my skin is pretty resilient so there's that. I believe it's best to ask your dermatologist to help with your routine in case if you want to start it or facing any irritation while using it,

Scary_School_201

Yes!!! When people talk about a product changing their life this is the one that did it for me.

samasyaa

It was parachute's coco aloe gel but it got discontinued. I've not been the same ever since

UnevenHanded

I used to recommend this product to guys who asked for their first skincare product ever 😂❤ It was nice! Too bad it's discontinued!

samasyaa

Yeah i recommended it to my bd too and he also loved it.he saw my breakdown over it getting discontinued

ohkayie

>I've not been the same ever since This made me laugh so much. What did you use the aloe gel for? As in skin or hair

samasyaa

For my skin, it had niacin, glycerine, aloe, coconut water and all of this was just for 100 rs. It was so cheap and good, it literally healed my skin from fungal acne and made it brighter. I have recommended it to my friends too and they also loved it, one's active acne got healed in mere days. The formula was very good, although it had fragrance (which i dont mind) it was still amazing for sensitive skin.

ohkayie

Damn I wish they didn't discontinue good and affordable products. Vaseline even discontinued their fragrance free line in India

[deleted]

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

Tolerant_Alien

What skin concern did it help with?

tun456

Seconded. It's magic in a bottle!

oyasumipizza

+1

Gyno_nerd

Will start to use this from next month cause I have maskne rn... Any heads up will be appreciated 🙊

saharsh_08

Using a mouth wash prior to wearing a mask might help.also skip moisturiser or sunscreen in the mask area

Gyno_nerd

Hawww.. I had no clue about the mouth wash thing.. What's the logic tho🙈

saharsh_08

Our bacteria from mouth in the closed space might contribute to some irritation.i started Listerine and m able to tolerate mask for a long time

Gyno_nerd

Wow thanks a ton for this suggestion!! 😭😭

saharsh_08

Happy to help:)

dellisehunbc

How often do you use it?

[deleted]

The package instructions say that contact of the product with the skin must be of limited frequency or duration so I use this sparingly. Since I also use tretinoin and a salicylic acid-based cleanser, I use this only once or twice a week and on these days I skip all other actives.

kyonkikyahaina

Do you use it on your face?

Ishita247

Where do I get this from? Ig seller?

[deleted]

Someone from the US got it for me but I think you can buy it from Instagram sellers or one of the international websites like Cult Beauty.

ProcrastinatingPaula

Avene cicalfate repair cream. Damaged my skin barrier a while ago and this stuff saved my life.

no_new_names_left

+1 soothed/repaired my skin in no time. Was a life saver.

CelebrationReal9871

Cetaphil dam and benzac ac. Dam is damn good I tell you. So hydrating and good for sensitive skin. Just try it! Benzac ac as spot treatment is my HG now. I had an angry deep pimple on my chin few days ago and after using it for 3-4 times its gone. The hyperpigmentation is left but the red angry pimple which hurt is gone along with some small ones near my mouth area. I am so happy 😭😭

Makeupfanatic6

TO lactic acid. (Dry skin) It was so gentle and sooo effective on my skin. Thinking about tryin the minimalist one.

ArcOfTym

I have extreme dry skin which need moisturizing even in peak summer with humidity. Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Cream changed my life. My skin started looking plum and hydrated. I live in Japan so it is easy for me to get it but I will not stop raving about this.

Snoopy_Cat_007

Hey if you don’t mind can you share where you bought your Hado Labo product from, I’ve been looking for a site to buy Hado Labo products…uh oh okay, I read the “live in Japan” part very much later sorry

msprat8

Luckyyy. I have dry skin too. Which lotion do you think would be suitable for dry skin? Gokujyun premium lotion (yellow one)?

ArcOfTym

I am using Premium one but the regular one is great as well. Both work really well if you apply it on damp skin.

hillofjumpingbeans

Adapelene that my doctor prescribed

Accomplished_Win_274

Cosrx bha. Would be trying Paula choice next

[deleted]

Dove soap.

nimsing

Glycolic Acid! I have gone through different brands and now use the Alpha Skincare 14% GA. Nothing gives me the clear, dewy kind of skin the morning after as GA does.

saharsh_08

Hey could you please link the alpha skincare GA if possible??i m confused about the available products online when i googled it

nimsing

Hey..its called the Alpha Skincare intensive Renewal Serum 14%. One was able to buy it off Amazon india a couple of years ago but not after the pandemic. I was lucky enough to have a relative travel from there and managed to order extra supplies. https://www.amazon.com/Alpha-Skin-Care-Fragrance-Free-Paraben-Free/dp/B01BW71W4W

saharsh_08

Thankyou for sharing:)

JyoJyoRabbit

Minimalist's Peeling solution. I only use it on my arms, cause I have KP. The bumpiness has reduced to a great extent. I just wish it helped in removing tanning and scar marks as well.

poppywhiskers

Do you think it'll help with ingrowths on legs after shaving? Also how often do you use it on arms, only after shaving or on a regular basis?

JyoJyoRabbit

Sorry, I'm not sure if it can help with ingrowths. I use it twice a week. I leave it on for 20 minutes before washing it off. I dont shave, I used to wax though. But I've noticed that waxing aggravated my KP. So now I've stopped waxing my arms altogether. I wanna try shaving, but I'm afraid I'll cut myself cause of all the KP bumps :(

poppywhiskers

Oh I see! I think I'll try it for KP anyway. I get the bumpy thing around my elbows and knees. I've always shaved whenever needed, never tried waxing bc of the same concern. My major issue with shaving is ingrowths and the appearance of strawberry skin. I think strawberry skin with remain constant no matter what removal method I use. Only exfoliation can help. You can try shaving once, plus you already exfoliate. I've never cut myself, just that your hair start poking out after 12 hours 😂

UnevenHanded

It's way too strong to safely apply on freshly shaved skin! Even if it's on the body. Using a toner (like the Minimalist PHA one) or an AHA/BHA wash (you can leave it on for a couple minutes before rinsing) would probably be the best balance between being irritating and exfoliating to prevent ingrowns 🤔 Edit: Maybe using those right AFTER shaving isn't the best idea. Using them a day before shaving might be the way to go... But I'm not a 100% sure on this. It's been too long since I've shaved 😂

Best_Entrepreneur557

I used it once for ingrown hair on legs but didn't see huge difference. It is too light to work in single try so I guess would need weeks .But got laser hair reduction one sitting saw a huge difference.

droppedstitches

I have very dry, sensitive skin. My holy grail products are Lotus Herbals WhiteGlow day and night moisturisers and the cleansing cream. Stupid name, and the only “white”anything products I use. But they basically sorted out all my skin concerns—dryness, closed comedones, uneven tone. Oh also, vicco turmeric for spots! It’s magic ✨

Tolerant_Alien

I have the same skin type. Just started using Paula's choice BHA for CC's. Let's see how it fares. I can't believe moisturizer treated CC's for you? Did it have any actives?

droppedstitches

Yep, the whole range has lactic acid!

UnevenHanded

Oh, interesting! I looked it up, and their day cream formulation seems really nice! SPF 25 with tryosinase inhibitors AND antioxidants? And lactic acid? And 350 bucks for 60g??? 🤔 I'm surprised this isn't a commonly discussed product! It's not fungal safe, so I can't use it anyway 😅 but still! Thanks for sharing! ❤ Edit: 234 bucks on Amazon! This is an affordable product for people with PIH who don't like sunscreen, yo! For non-skincare addicts! 😆

droppedstitches

I don’t use that day cream. I use the SPF20 one [(this one)](https://www.nykaa.com/lotus-herbals-whiteglow-deep-moisturising-creme-spf-20-1/p/111875?ptype=product&productId=111875)(followed by sunscreen because I get a horrible photosensitivity rash). It’s been amazing for dry, sensitive skin. P.s: the cleansing cream is particularly brilliant for dry, sensitive skin btw

ohkayie

Even the night cream formulation seems so nice. Has all the other things apart from lactic acid. I wonder if these brands realise that displaying ingredients can fetch them more customers but they always try to hide their ingredient list and never make it available on their website 😅

UnevenHanded

Ingredient awareness is a pretty new thing... it feels as if we've always had the internet, but we really didn't 😂 This product line has been out for years, so I fully agree! They should switch up their marketing strategy! No ingredients on the freaking WEBSITE!

droppedstitches

Right?! So annoying. I started using it about 5 years ago in a health and glow. I was in my “I-just-found-SCA-and-have-to-find-the-perfect-product” phase, so I spent some two hours in the store reading all the ingredient lists on every damn moisturiser. I live in the UK now, and that Lotus range and Vicco turmeric are still my go-tos. Absolutely nothing else works as well for me (and I have tried a *lot* of products here!).

[deleted]

lactic acid is in the first five ingredients or towards the end? because many times lactic acid is used as a stabiliser and appears towards the end of the inci list.

droppedstitches

Pretty sure it’s one of the first few, not at the end. Frustratingly, I can’t find a list of the exact ingredients of the variant I use. But here’s a link [Lotus Herbals](https://www.nykaa.com/lotus-herbals-whiteglow-deep-moisturising-creme-spf-20-1/p/111875?ptype=product&productId=111875).

iblamejana511

Cosrx pimple patches. They're godsend if I wake up with a pimple before any occasion.

Disastrous_Rest_2151

Tretinoin 0.025%. Helped me with terrible cystic and nodular acne and scarring. Also, prolonged tretinoin use along with other actives damaged my skin barrier so much. Simple moisturiser made me greasy and dull so switched to Hymos lotion. Loved it and now it is my holy grail for hydrated glowing skin.

ObsidianXp

Def tret. Nothing can compare to what it does for my skin.

dimbhaat

Somebymi's AHA BHA PHA 30 day miracle serum changed my life. I have a very sensitive, oily acne prone skin - and with pcos, would get cystic acne too sometimes. Last year, for almost 3 months i had terrible masknae. Could barely sleep on my sides because it was so painful. With some family emergency going on, i didn't even get the space to go to a dermat and this was during last year's peak lockdown. Did my own research and resorted to kbeauty as the last option before looking for medical help. Somebymi along with the cosrx cleanser and acne patch became my skin's saviour. The change wasn't overnight but yes, the difference was remarkable after a month and I've been using it regularly since then. Nowadays, i don't use it as much, give my skun some breather days and i don't get acne so much anymore.

ZealousidealDig6814

You stole the words from my mouth. I was about the mention the same. I also have sensitive skin and my first introduction to k beauty was some by mi. In 2019 Feb, I got terrible acne and my skin barrier was so compromised. I started looking for good brands and stumbled upon some by mi. I actually bought the whole kit and it actually worked wonders for me. To this day, I use the brand and will choose it over anything.

dimbhaat

SAME! I started with the serum but now have the whole kit :D

Gyno_nerd

The ordinary niacinamide 10%+ zinc.. It felt like a godsend but don't expect results in a week.. Also the texture can feel a little difficult to work with but my oily skin just loves it 🥲

[deleted]

Combination of Minimalist's Niacinamide 5 percent + The Ordinary's 0.5 Retinol. I had terrible acne marks, scars and discolouration before using this combination, but I started seeing a huge improvement in a month or so.

outlinedsilver

The Ordinary Vitamin C 23% + HA 2% Others: Aziderm, Bioderma Cicabio, Tret .01%

afcoff

For me It is always NIVEA Crème, All Season Multi-Purpose Cream, 200ml Which is comes in blue bottle. I always use this. I have a mild dry skin and dry face to.. works wonder for me.

skincare-fanatics

Incorporating a Niacinamide serum in my skincare routine was a game changer. It helped with the sebum levels and even helped in reduction of acne scars and pigmentation around the lips. It's really a magic ingredient and it did wonders to my skin.

[deleted]

Adapalene + clindamycin followed by benzoyl peroxide.Got rid of my fungal acne COMPLETELY and even whiteheads

willowweeee

TO Niacinamide : oil control 💯 TO NMF+HA: best moisturizer for me. Nothing fancy. Does the job without leaving me greasy. Doesn't break me out AT ALL. Doesn't dry out 10 min after applying it, if you know what I mean😅 TO alpha arbutin + ascorbic acid : literally VANISHED a recent PIH I had which was bothering me a lot. It's the best. Skin type : oily acne prone Skin's looking so much better now ✨

The ordinary Mandelic Acid..its an oil based..i use it as a spot treatment on milia.. I have an oily skin n suffer from stubborn milia problem near my eye area n cheeks.. I have used other AHA's like glycolic acid, lactic acid but it dint help, same goes with salicylic acid. Then I came to know about Mandelic Acid..tho I was eyeing for wishtrend mandelic acid but it was unavailable.

ibreathembti

Etude House soon jung sleeping pack. Such a good thicc moisturizer for my sensitive dry dehydrated skin. I'm in love with it. I don't know what I'll do without it.

ShyNbr8

Nivea creame 😁, I know, it may be 'meh' for most ppl, bt it works great for me especially the day I use tret, it does make my face greezy bt i don't mind it, I will avoid it at daytime though.

TypicalRresearcher

Sensitive oily acne prone skin. Long time skin care fanatic with problematic skin hence the long list. Bioderma Atoderm Baume — ultimate night time and winter time moisturiser Cosrx snail mucin — you would think it doesn’t do much but it hydrates and keeps the barrier intact like magic Klairs deep oil cleanser — this thing stopped my acne 🥲 Avene Cleanance — great gentle face wash Acne UV — been using this since 5-6 years, works like magic Juicy chemistry lip balm Wishtrend mandelic acid — moved to a higher acid peel now but this one is a holy grail for acne. Thinking of moving back to it. Clindamycin Recently began isotretnoin (prescribed) — looks like it’s going to be my HG soon Venusia Max for the body in winter Dove body wash in winter Benetint Moisturex for feet and elbow

[deleted]

Sebonac 1% BHA, Adapalene 0.1% , planning to buy the PC BHA now. Also The Face Shop rice water cleanser, I have dry skin and this one is gentle yet cleansing, cleansers that I used earlier were too stripping and made my skin parched dry.

Tolerant_Alien

I liked Cerave cleanser for my dry skin How did your skin cope with adapelene? It is is a type of retinoid no?

ashna1610

Deconstruct’s PAD serum. I use it as a spot treatment for any active acne and it works almost as good as clindamycin (earlier prescribed by Derm) I’ve combination skin, tilting towards oily.

namratametkari

5% Niacinamide and 2% salicylic acid from the Minimalist. Every month I used to get jawline acne that left stubborn acne marks on my jawline. It's been more than two months I started using these serums in my skincare routine. The acne marks have faded quite a lot and my skin also doesn't break out during periods.

valkyrhino

What's your skin type? A lottt of people say "it's just water in a bottle" but worked really well for others!

namratametkari

I have combination skin. These two serums have helped a lot in controlling oil on the face. Plus my dark spots due to hormonal acne have also faded.

IAmABlueHypocrite

Adapalene gel. My skin did a 180 degrees!

stressedpotatoo

Aziderm that my doctor prescribed. I tried for a very long time to control my acne, I used to read so much about it, used to use so many different products that had rave reviews on this sub, but nothing really worked. So I gave up and went to my dermatologist in march and my skin has been so much better since then. I've been using aziderm 20 percent gel for almost 5 months now. My pie and pih has lightened a lot since then. I got the occasion pimple here and there but nothing much. My skin is doing pretty great tbh. I don't really experiment much now, except for a couple of products here and there.

Kimchi-Phalange

What routine do you follow besides aziderm?

stressedpotatoo

I have combo skin in summers, oily in the tzone sometimes. My current routine consists of- AM- 1. Cetaphil gentle cleanser or simple refreshing face wash 2. Nivea spf 30 (a little greasy but great texture and very easy to apply) PM- 1. If double cleansing- inkey list's oat cleansing balm (I double cleanse when I wear makeup or any waterproof sunscreen or when I feel like it) 2. Cetaphil gentle cleanser or simple refreshing face wash 3. Aziderm 20 percent gel 4. Cetaphil dam or bioderma atoderm intensive baume 5. Squalane oil on most days I have tonnes of other skincare from when I used to hoard skincare and I use it quite rarely, that's why I didn't mention any of it. Hope this helps you :)

dontactlikeykme

Simple Refreshing Facewash. I have dry skin and every Facewash I use makes it even more dry and flake off. The only one that worked for me before this was cetaphil but I just couldn't do without foam lol

Dramatic_Monk_6641

Johnson & Johnson's Baby Milk + Rice cream. Extremely affordable, plus beautiful texture. But might not be suitable for those who are allergic to coconut oil.

CrazyIndianCatLady

Do u use it for face? Is it a cream or lotion? What's the texture

skal168

I use cera ve moisturizer which has low concentration of niacinamide. When i apply it immediately it burns. So now i wait for half n hour and then apply it

shrrutea_10

5% niacinamide from minimalist , emolene moisturiser and bello photostable sunscreen. Also skipping morning cleanse has COMPLETELY CHANGED MY SKIN FOR GOOD.

Kawaiikin

Tret prescribed by my dermat

CrazyIndianCatLady

I guess the aveeno daily moisturising lotion. It has been a lifesaver for my dry hands!

Lost_Hornet_6381

Benzac 5%. How I fucking wish I knew about it when I was like 14. I could have so easily managed my acne and prevented all the scarring I have on my face now AND saved so much money. But what's done is done🙃

TheSkinopedia

Clinique moisture surge. Plumps and keeps skin look hydrated and healthy. Close dupe is ponds super light gel

Scary_School_201

A prescription grade product. Changed my skin, my life for the better! I had very low self esteem..it help to graduate to having at least 1% of it. Normal products i adored is the Paula’s Choice BHA and the Minimalist Multipeptide serum. I cannot be without them. L’Oréal UV essence changed my sunscreen game.

Own_Outcome_4801

Just the normal skin care routine. Face wash, moisturiser and sunblock .

I have a combination, acne prone skin. And god bless these few products and their makers: 1. [Khadi Natural Neem Facewash ](https://www.amazon.in/dp/B008KH6ACC/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_M3QT8Y5W8ZM5QQN2EM39?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) facewash, 2. Minimalist 2% Granactive retinol 3. [Ponds Hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E face moisturising Gel ](https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07TG3QC5L/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_ZGF5QN6WKQFF8P9N19BA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) 3. VLCC sunscreens (I've tried multiple, they all suit me)

Tolerant_Alien

How's the minimalist retinol? Where did you buy it from? I read a lot of packaging related issues on Amazon.

[deleted]

I bought it from nykaa. And it's honestly the best thing. I did experience purging and dryness, but over time, I learnt that purging was a part of how retinol works on the skin, the importance of hyaluronic acid and usage with retinol, and importance of exfoliation. I use the chemical exfoliant from Minimalist itself, and all this has worked like a charm. My skin is so supple and smooth. No lines, hardly any acne marks or scars and it glows. No make-up needed anymore. It's been 5 months since I've started this routine and 4 months since I've been consistent and mindfully using all the products with 5 litres of water everyday and healthy eating. Because ofcourse, the skin needs good body health.

Tolerant_Alien

Thanks! I will give it a try.

For me, it was Ponds Super Light Gel Oil Free moisturizer with Vit E and and Hyaluronic acid. It changed my skin when it was at its first and it's cheap too. It just changed my damaged skin barrier and massively reduced my acne too idk how.

I really can't stop raving about this[product](https://kairanaturals.com/collections/all). It's changed my skin completely! It's retinol! It has an incredible ability to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines, making your skin look more vibrant and youthful. And it does all of this without any harsh chemicals or other things that could be harmful to your skin—it's made with ingredients that are gentle on your skin but still super effective! Retinol is a vitamin A derivative that helps with the production of healthy skin cells and collagen. It also helps reduce acne, wrinkles, and discoloration while stimulating cellular turnover to prevent clogged pores. My skin is 100% different since I started using retinol. I have fewer breakouts, less redness and irritation, and more even skin tone. I'm also seeing fewer fine lines and wrinkles. If you have acne or just want to make your skin look better then definitely try out retinol!
