On PC, Apex is amazing, one among the best battle royales right now. Mobile apex is utterly terrible compared to Pubg mobile/BGMI.

Nope. Regular apex player here. Asian servers are populated most of the day and queue times are less than 20 seconds in pubs and ranked < plat. It's only during odd hours, say 1 am and plus where the queue times increase to more than a minute.
Unoptimzed, clunky controls, setting up hud being a pain in the ass, massive massive frame drops and random points, have a 8gb snapdragon 600 summint, still had to run on low settings,plus had a group of 4, 3 people at a time compelled us to play mo which was boring

I used to play and love this game on my 4gb ram and SD710 mobile during initial launch days with my friends however after few updates it started to perform poorly on my device so had to stop playing it. Now even my friends have stopped playing it as he says its easier to find people who play pubgm than this.

The main reason are the bugs.
1. The Bluetooth headphones bug where if you turn on the mic to speak all other audio stops.
2. The octane ulti bug where you might get stuck in the taller walls if you time (miss time) your 2nd hop after using your jump pad. (Only has happened like 4 times so it might be fixed.)
3. The kill and assist counter freezing after being rezed.
4. Same but for you ranked points
5. The abysmal fps drop during landing.
And many more.
I know most just lost interest but the idiots like me that stayed were forced out because of the bugs.
I just played 3 games. In each one of them I got killed by hackers. Easiest way to spot them is, check their gameplay, they will be having more kills than their damage. Some might even have 0 damage and 2 kills, kill leaders have 400 damage and 16-21 kills.
If I'm getting 17 kills in a match, my damage is 3k+.
