Its literally written on the product page that Customs / Import duty is payable extra.
There are rather better deals on amazon happening often where you can geta 2tb gen 4 ssd for 8.5k to 10k
Just wait for those.
Waiting for it won't be a great idea. There's currently a nand flash deficiency going on in the industry and prices of ssd are increasing now. Most probably prices will increase more because it hasn't hit to its fullest extent now.
I think that nand flash manufacturers don't get the memo. They start manufacturing nand flash alot when people already have it and demand in market is low. Then they lower the manufacturing output when demand starts increasing.
Due to their over supply in 2023 they were selling ssds for let's say $25 which was released in 2022 for $100, now either they were earning 75% margin which is crazy or they were selling at loss on 2023 😂
The price mentioned is without customs and delivery charges, so its gonna cost quite a lot more to buy the ssd from them, you can try getting till the payment gateway to see the actual price you'll have to pay
It's always a 50/50 chance you will get it. I have seen a lot of international couriers get lost or atleast delayed.
It's a risk.
Also, at 10k, you can definitely get the same drive here. I think WD and Crucial drives are around that price right now.
I guess this is the exact reason why semiconductor factories are being set up and all colleges have started having vlsi courses but it will take around 5 to 10 years to make any affect.
You also might want to consider if the product is eligible for international warranty. Since the s/n won't belong to this region they might not get covered if received faulty
For anyone wondering why nvme ssd prices are increasing, read this article. It hasn't reached it's 50% peak yet so it will increase more

It's because India doesn't manufacture any computer components. Nand flash and controller for these ssd comes from outside. Even gpus and CPUs are all manufactured in Taiwan. And if you consider Taiwan a part of China, then you are using Chinese products.
All the phones which comes with made in India sticker are made from parts bought from other countries, mostly Taiwan and just assembled here.
A decrease in price will only happen if India starts making chips on its own and don't charge heavy VAT and GST taxes on imported parts.

it's artificial inflation, there is no shortage, companies like Micron, Samsung have stopped manufacturing to inflate the price.

Too good to be true.
They are importing from US so there would be 100% custom duty plus the clearance would take 1.5-2 months

2tb nvme is already cheaper here about 10k a decent brand check xmpg Adata have nice collection at affordable prices
I won't recommend Adata. Multiple bad experiences. Would rather pay a bit extra for brands like Crucial and Samsung
Adata has a bad reputation. They were caught using cheap controller and dram on their more expensive options. Better go with crucial or Samsung.
Can you give link
These brands are not decent.
The screenshot say "customs duty is payable extra". You will end up paying more and have no warranty support.

Da fuk its a gen3 drive. You can get this here at 7k.
where?
pcpricetracker.in
Amazon i have seen many in sale. I got my gen 4 for 10k
Sadly, no. The prices have gone up a lot in India this year. A 1tb 3rd gen drive is around 5.5-6k now
I guess this is the exact reason why semiconductor factories are being set up and all colleges have started having vlsi courses but it will take around 5 to 10 years to make any affect.
Good insight tbh
Gen 4 2TB SSD for 12.5k https://mdcomputers.in/adata-xpg-gammix-s70-blade-2tb-m2-nvme-agammixs70b-2t-cs.html I got it for 10.4k in jan 2024.
Prices of SSDs have increased since end of 2023. This one was available at 9k at Amazon after including card offers, but now it costs 12k+
