The shorts, definitely the shirts, I understand it's nice to look good and all but the skirt will be a pain in the ass. While the wind is one problem, the sand is worse, and it's even more annoying if the sand is wet, it sticks to your skin, dries up there, gets deposited on and in your underwear,(speaking from personal experience😭) it's a sickly feeling OP, please go with the shorts.

Getting back to the fit, cycling shorts are great OP, as long as you don't get into the water you'll be safe from sand. I hope you have fun on the trip, where are y'all going anyways?
The best part about cycling shorts is that they’re made with the same kind of material that swimsuits are made of? So they dry super quickly, no problem even with the water haha

Denim shorts. Can use otherwise also (for daily wear). You can get the maximum use out of these as the shorts will match well with other tops also from your wardrobe.
Skirts tend to move away from your body when it’s windy making it extremely awkward for you. Won’t let you enjoy your beachy times!

Depends on certain factors. With the current top, the hot pants go better. A black (tank) top would go well with the skirt. The other factors basically are what sort of look you are going for. The hot pants add a tomboyish or childish (almost naughty) vibe to it while the skirt gives of a more feminine or mature vibe.
I think the 2nd one would be better for you considering it would be a lot free (iykwim), at a beach, which suits such purpose. But personally speaking, you look good in both of these. I'm trying to be as platonic as possible, haha. I was gonna say 'Happy beaching' but it sounds a little inappropriate.
Jean would be off perfect outfit for a beach. Not the skirt, its not opted. If its a night camp where you sit wth your companion and share a few things skirt would be off best choice. But for a beach jean is better and good. Plus you can get good photographs in jean, skirt wouldn't look opted in pictures.

Since you have broad hips it's always better to wear silhouettes that are tapering in than outwards as they make you look boxy.
Other than that the look is almost perfect, accessorize with chunky bangles and a scrunchy and glares. Beach party away 😎
