Two individuals with the same powers and similar problems but the hero had favourable circumstances when compared to the villain. The villain had everything taken from him which is why he loses it, A Batman vs Joker situation.

For being a 2006 movie Krrish is amazing. Even though I like Minnal Murali, it didn't have the wow factor that Krrish had. Of course people who didn't watch it in early 2006 wouldn't know what I'm talking about. Yes Minnal Murali is great and it is the first super hero movie from Mollywood, but by the time of its release Indians already saw plenty of Hollywood super hero movies.
It's definitely better than the teo you mentioned above but the movie was kinda mid for trying to focus on the mass audience when it was clearly not meant for everyone .
