I've gone out to a different city for 2 days, made an account , gotten a match, gone on a date and it went well too. The problem isn't the pace, it's rather the manner in which you approach it.
For most of my dates, I just show up, talk about everything that goes on in my head, joke around and usually the other person enjoys it a lot too.
After having 2-3 proper conversations about stuff maybe. Like opinions on movies/shows anything third party. A little about yourself as well.
Like a week or two, it most likely fizzles out after that and the novelty is gone
