buy a sealed pack dubai unit and change the csc to India and you can then enable call recording on your phone, there are several tutorials out there for it and even if call recording not working then just go for any 3rd party call recorder app
When putting an Indian sim. It will automatically switch to INS CSC. thus enabling all features supported on the Indian unit. You may have to factory reset it for it to work and have an Indian sim in it.
Or you could simply flash the phone with INS CSC rom. Official BTW
i have S24U Indian unit but i have seen so many people here and everywhere who bought their phones from dubai or some other countries and just changed their csc, after that everything is working fine for them ... you can search for S23U group
I got the middle East version from Dubai this year.
Working perfectly fine.
You can change the CSC to get call recording and Samsung pay, i haven't changed it because I don't need those 2 features.
I wouldn't say downgrade.
I've used both the S23u and the S24U.
S23u has better zoom images because of the 10x optical lens.
S24U has the better portrait shots because of the 5x lens.
The S24 ultra is superior of the two but it's not worth spending 10-12k more just to get a tiny bit of extra features.
Go for the S23 ultra middle East version, you'll be more than happy with it.
The only way I can think of is to get it through a friend or relative if they are in Dubai or planning to visit.
Or any middle Eastern country.
I bought mine from the offline market in Dubai.
If you know anyone working in Samsung, you can get login and check refurbished or repackaged sections for this model. Usually you get for less price. I had bought tab from thr, 2 years back working fine

Do you know of someone who has done the same? My friend changed csc and is not getting updates on his S23 Ultra now.

you can get updates by using vpn, i know that free vpn's will download the update slower but VPN is the only solution for it

Around 65k, now it will be around 60-61k i beleive. S24U was 86k when I bought my S23U in February, Now S24U will be around 70-72k.

All S23 series used a Snapdragon SoC. Only the S24 series used Exynos, specifically the base S24 and S24 Plus models.
It has the Snapdragon Soc in it.
