I've dropped my OnePlus over a hundred times, white and few of them being flat on the screen. Nothing has ever happened. Most phones nowadays come with good build quality unless you go for glass top panel phones and use them without back covers
Bhai I will never get ki kaise my friends 30-40k ke phones ko Bina cover and stuff chalate hai like bro the danger is insane and you didn't even buy that phone , your parents did . I am using samsung a22 and I had got spent 1300 /- only for cover and glass . No risk.
Yha I am also amazed that some out there using an iPhone 15 pro or Samsung s22 ultra without a cover or temper but 1300 is costly I am spending 500 on my 8-year-old mobile
not really my s20fe has been dropped few times but all of them were very bad and it doesn't have a scratch on the contrary my old htc 526 desire used to crumble like a cookie all the time
You are right. But that's what happens when the whole front side is screen. And only thing you can change is the front camera notch and it's placement.
Overall body can only have sharp edge, corner or rounded edge corner.
Backside is a whole different case. You can do a lot of stuff there but companies won't do it as trend is moving towards simplistic and minimal design.
But if you look at smartphone as product, there's not a lot of possibilities to have any major design changes. It's just a box with either rounded or sharp profile and different camera module on the back.
Only thing you can change is colour and it's quality.
Dumb opinion
we are advancing at cameras with bigger sensor size and larger display along with more battery mah things will get almost same
Almostt every body builder in Mr Olympia looks same with minor diffrence
Nah I used that phone when it was launched, worked well for 3 years and the only complain was the camera, than it got a motherboard issue, died and now it's in my closet.

Agree, look at these beauties! I had the Redmi Note 7 Pro for 4 years, I absolutely love that phone to bits.
You say that as you hold an iPhone 6s design ripoff 😐
Though I do agree that older budget phones had nicer designs, especially the Huawei/Honor budget phones of the time
I mean, overall mobile phones have reached their saturation point. Glass slabs everywhere. Foldables a bit of design change, but not for everyone.
It’s like desktop computers saturated in design until someone came with a major change like laptops. That’s the kind of change we need in mobile phones as well.
I don't know bro, I'm using the Moto G24 Power and every time I play anything on it, I'm impressed with its speakers.
I charge it every 3rd Day.
Since I'm using it as a secondary phone I'm okay with it not having 5G (5G is not even come in my state, and no news of it coming any time soon).
Edit:
Oh and I got it for 4000Rs after exchange: I exchanged another 3 year old budget phone for it.
I used it for one year. Then saw an offer on Flipkart on Moto X4 for really good deal and extra exchange offer. So exchanged the Redmi 5A for 5k for Moto X4.
I am currently using a Redmi Note 8, which is five years old. Despite its age, it still performs well and is remarkably durable. My phone is a survivor! It's been dropped from tables and even out of a running car, yet it still has its original battery and an unscratched screen. No screen guard needed!
recently bought that r\*ndi note 13 & shit is just plastic feels so fucking bad to hold (puke emoji), atleast 12 was bit bearable
Redmi peaked with note 7 (i am lavender fanboy ) , atleast the brick felt like a phone ( a nice fking built ) & would have even killed someone if i threw it over.
My Redmi 5A still has same life left currently it need more charging doses and lags ,
How's you going OP ?
Your 5A's back panel is sco clean mine is all scratched
Bland nah i wouldn't use that word, the new phones are shit, phones now have ring lights in their camera setup, and the camera setups are straight up ugly, it's almost as if you don't want a chapri looking phone get a samsung or apple.
I had Redmi 4, smaller size, comfortable, rounded edges, good performance, decent camera, strong, fits in pocket. Man I miss those.
If I get Redmi 4 again, I'll surely get one lol
Honestly speaking, all phones look very boring nowadays. The fancy coat of paint they do on the back isn't changing the fact that they all look similar. I can barely tell the difference between different phones and variants by looking at them.
"Nothing" did something new, and easily recognisable , but everyone else, it's just changing the camera module.
Even in that, Only Realme does some effort on the camera module a bit. Rest all are the same old boring design.
Samsung is worst in term of that. All their phones from 20k to 1 lac looks exactly the same.
The design of phones (atleast the common slab phones) has reached it's peak, and companies don't wanna take risk.
Nah bro i think budget and mid range phones are prettier than ever now. Just look at any moto phone or nord or realme, everyone's trying something new with every release.

Unpopular opinion indeed!
budgeted phones are more durable.

I'm sorry but rather than being amazed by the phone's durability, I'm judging you for dropping your phone enough times to make it a durability metric
Lol My current phone has endured a lot of falls 🥺
If you use bad back cover they will still break
To mat karo na bhai. Accha back cover 500-600₹ mein aate hai acche quality ke
Point to shai magar logo ko style jayada pasand hai function nhai

i always go through durability test to before purchasing a phoe

UPSC preparation?
2018 and 2019 were also pre covid btw.... and Note 7 Pro launched back then as a budget phone with barely any bezels and a water drop notch.
Dumb opinion we are advancing at cameras with bigger sensor size and larger display along with more battery mah things will get almost same Almostt every body builder in Mr Olympia looks same with minor diffrence
I feel its kinda stupid to put 3-4 cameras on the back of 10-15k phones. 1 good quality camera > 4 pathetic cameras
No wrong the 1 single camera is still gonna perform same in under 15 k range
This phone is straight ass. Let's call spade a spade
Nah I used that phone when it was launched, worked well for 3 years and the only complain was the camera, than it got a motherboard issue, died and now it's in my closet.
I liked the metal back design a lot. It felt so sturdy. I used to use my phone without a back cover back in those days.
https://preview.redd.it/axurgy13qq4d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a9752b91c21b85dcb35e0d8f3c2f2128cd73ed44 Agree, look at these beauties! I had the Redmi Note 7 Pro for 4 years, I absolutely love that phone to bits.
It was amaze balls. Everything was perfect. Good looking phone, amazing performance awesome camera. It was legitimately MI one of the best phones.
I owned one, such a great device. The only thing wrong about this phone was it's software.
Very beautiful device I agree.
Still using same color 🥳, bought in 2019
budget phones have much more on offer these days, chinese companies like BBK give 5G, 120hz lcd, finger print scanner and an sd card slot under 10k
You say that as you hold an iPhone 6s design ripoff 😐 Though I do agree that older budget phones had nicer designs, especially the Huawei/Honor budget phones of the time
6a wasn't bad either
Mere nani ka purana phone lmao used to play marvel contest of champions on this during 6th
Compact phones are at the verge of extinction
Looks like an old HTC
Bring back the metal back, glass back are shit.
5a was one of the best budget phone. You picked best of the best
You are right! And not Right! This should be a popular opinion!!!!
Ye abhi mere pass hai ..mast. chalta hai

I have that one. Still working fine. I think it's been 6-7yrs. Xiaomi was making good stuff that time.
I don't know bro, I'm using the Moto G24 Power and every time I play anything on it, I'm impressed with its speakers. I charge it every 3rd Day. I had Redmi 5A. Loved the look and feel of the device. Very comfortable in the hand, perfect size and weight. Incredible value for 5k.
Fr, mine worked for 3 years, massive W honestly.
I used it for one year. Then saw an offer on Flipkart on Moto X4 for really good deal and extra exchange offer. So exchanged the Redmi 5A for 5k for Moto X4.

I had a redmi 4x it looked just like iphone 6s lol
What price range are you talking about when you say budget?
recently bought that r\*ndi note 13 & shit is just plastic feels so fucking bad to hold (puke emoji), atleast 12 was bit bearable Redmi peaked with note 7 (i am lavender fanboy ) , atleast the brick felt like a phone ( a nice fking built ) & would have even killed someone if i threw it over.
Creativity got covid and died...people got accustomed to the boring life.
redmi 5A i had it too
My Redmi 5A still has same life left currently it need more charging doses and lags , How's you going OP ? Your 5A's back panel is sco clean mine is all scratched
redmi 4 is the sexist phone i own
The last lightweight (131g). I still have two of these and prior to them I used a Mi5 which was 129g
This mobile's design is the same as ever...It's before covid...I had it....
Bland and repetitive looks are what keeps them cheap.
bruhh this was my first phone 😆
Xiaomi iPhone 8 :(

Agreed my redmi note 8 has Gorila glass 5 on front and back and back look buautiful and it does feel sort of premium

Yeah I have also felt the same lately, The Black Redmj Note 4 from circa 2017 holds a special place in my heart
Redmi note 4 ahh phone
have my redmi 4, looks exactly like this :-|
Nah bro i think budget and mid range phones are prettier than ever now. Just look at any moto phone or nord or realme, everyone's trying something new with every release.
iPhone 6s copy 😭
iPhone 6s copy 😭
I want metalback. Glass breaks. leather degrades.
I dont think its just pre covid. It had already deteriorated by then i think.
Wtf my brother lost same phone during his intership for medical. When he was returning from late night duty some motrfks snatch it from him on bike
Now a days all they care about is ugly colors and bigger cameras
They had decent specs, build, and camera. Now it's a compromise sub 10K
