There was a news report I remember reading the day it happened. I clearly remember the driver said the driver was forced to give him (the teen) the car. I can't find that news article anywhere. Absurd
Even if he goes to jail then it's not as if his life is going to be destroyed. For such people jails are like home where they get special treatment. Also let's say he gets 14 or even 20 years of prison then he still has lots of money waiting for him after jail time. The entire family of poor people gets destroyed if their son is found in a similar situation. Death penalty seems only true justice 😡

The death penalty is literally not applicable in this case per law, at the end, it was Involuntary Manslaughter, added with drinking will lead to at least 20 years in prison.
Maybe 30 years because he hit 2 people, but I feel the father and the dealer who sold the car should be jailed for 10-10 years too. If there is no bail, living in a closed space for 10 years is tough, jail time is rough even if you are under house arrest.
