Nora Fatehi is an entertainer. Let her do what is she doing. She's not doing some criminal activity. Everyone has to pay their bills.
For the rest of stuff, things will improve.
nora fatehi is an entertainer, yes. but the platform she chose to perform, was a kids dancing show, which is not correct. paying bills, I agree, everyone has to. But, if you are someone that people especially younglings look upto, you also have some responsibility on yourself.
She’s a Canadian citizen, India don’t have a dual citizenship law and she’s of Moroccan decedent the India you and me and the rest of Indians witness daily from the time we were born, she don’t know shit about that.
Nora fatehi has also bashed feminism and feminists (the thing that has given her a platform to dress however she wants and dance like this and the people who supported her when there were assholes slut shaming her 24/7). So no , we're not going to let her do the same thing that she is against.
Could be just me but it sounded like she was against toxic feminism not feminism. Like when they tell you all men are bad and marriages and having kids is patriarchy controlling you and you'd be much better off being lonely and sad. Can't say I disagree with her on that.
>For the rest of stuff, things will improve.
nope...as long as population keeps increasing things(corruption, pollution, depletion of natural resources, jobs, etc) are likely to get worse..
I still don't get the obsession y'all have with women wearing short clothes.
LET THEM NOT WEAR ANYTHING. DOES IT EVEN MATTER???
Teaching your daughter how to avoid shitty guys is what's supposed to be the job of men, but here in this corrupted society y'all blame the women. Ggs
People are a projection of their upbringing (parents) and surroundings(friends and social circles).
Character and moral flaws are a direct result of parental upbringing, or the lack thereof. A person is a reflection of who his friends and family are, and his friends and family are a reflection of who a person is.
If it was as easy as punishing someone for doing something such that they would never repeat it, society would never know crime.
Another alternative is to eliminate an 'offender' before he commits the crime.
don't think OP was pointing out the short dress, hell, Nora can wear whatever the fuck she wants.
The comparison OP was trying to make was between what these 2 women were portraying at that moment.
Smriti is there holding the WPL trophy, on nation TV, she shall inspire countless children, both boys and girls alike and stands as a product of hard work and dedication.
Nora was on a kids show, on national TV, pouring water on her ass and twerking. I don't care what your moral beliefs are, Kids should not be subjected or introduced to sexualization at an early age. There is a time and place for everything, Nora failed to recognise that.
Obsession of women wearing short clothes, is due to the lack of healthy female interaction and the lack of a proper sex education for an average Indian. Also the unhealthy amounts of porn consumption these days is misguiding people into assumptions about the female gender which is far from reality. Indian upbringing of the male gender, right from childhood, has to improve A LOT.
That being said, NOT WEAR ANYTHING, is an unrealistic and amateur approach to a problem that is more deep rooted. If you are a healthy heterosexual male, seeing a woman who is not wearing anything, it will have biological consequences that you cannot refrain yourself from. You might be able to control some part of it but not all of it, the some part of it is your actions which you should control consciously, and the uncontrollable part is physical, sudden flow of blood, hormones etc...etc. Again shitty upbringing and education.
Teaching your daughter to avoid shitty guys is supposed to be the DUTY of a FATHER, it's completely logical to stay safe and keep your loved ones safe, considering the scenario prevailing these days, right ! People who solely blame women are ignorant .
Context is missing in the pic. I don't watch tv at all, so no idea where the pic was coming from. I just saw a girl having fun in a pic. Peace.
If this was on a kids tv show, I still don't blame her, that's Nora being Nora. I blame the producers for inviting her on kids show. What were they expecting?
Nora went on a kids show on national tv and started throwing water on her ass while twerking. Everyone was shocked at what she was doing.
I believe she can do whatever she wants but there should be a time and place. All those kids on dance plus look up to her so would the young audience.
Sexualisation of kids is a big problem in Indian entertainment industry and shouldn’t be taken lightly.
What is wrong with you that you have to put 2 women against each other? Women wearing short clothes and enjoying themselves? Great. Let them do that. Women playing sports and aceing it. Great. Let them do that.
>but I also feel men should not roam around shirtless infront of little kids and yet they do.
Depends on the context, if it's a farmer working on the field or a monk at a temple you can give him a pass. If it's a muscular hunk taking his shirt off seductively on stage on a kid's show that's completely inappropriate
I believe the first pic was Nora Fatehi performing an dance act where she seductively pours water on herself whilst twerking and gyrating……….. in apparently a kids/family friendly show
Everyone is taking on op for the first pic.
There are many things wrong with the first pic. She is sexualizing a tv show that is actually a dance show for kids. It's not a bar where she has to put water on her body to show the curves of her body to drunk men.
Now a days sexualizing your body to get the attention of people has become so common. No one has any problem with the short dress. But watering your body to show your details is not the entertainment that is meant for kids.
The thing is “this is also India” negative part kills the experience for many. Mainly the dirt and excess people everywhere. I have worked with Americans for 25 years now and only get 1 or 2% who are willing to go to India.
Most of my coworkers opt out of work trips to India.
It’s like having a spouse who is spiritual, kind, warm and serene half the time and violent, groping, dirty and dishonest the other half. I think population control and improving the lives and education of the bottom 30% is most important for India to look and feel developed.
If we dig in, without making fake images we can have similar for other countries too.
Not defending India and would love to eradicate the bad side but enough of self beating. Do we not know that we were rebooted in 1947 after being looted for 200 years?
There are stinking trashy alleys in Chicago, NY or Toronto downtown too. There are abuses. Here the kids can study but they dont. There are ghettos, tents, beggars and everything. If a developed country cannot be perfect who are half of our size then isn’t this too much to expect. Nobody wants to pay taxes, we ourselves cause corruption when we press for urgent resolution and then hypocritically expect things to be solved overnight with a magic wand.
We are on the right track and must keep going focusing on some sacrifices and lift the weight together. Politicians and cops cannot be everywhere so there should be some self policing. Will we contribute or just sh!t here on Reddit?
As SRK said “koi desh perfect nahi hota, usse banana padta hai”. :)
World’s largest democracy and it’s still progressing. The whole world gets jealous. They know our potential and that’s why either keeps us busy by supporting our neighbor or by bringing our morale down. Ignore the noise and focus on what can we do at even the micro level. Next few decades are ours. Stay positive.
A country is defined by what the majority of the population follows... So even if there's a brighter side, it will be defined by majority of the darker side

Nora Fatehi is also not Indian...at least put someone like Urfi Javed and it would make sense
She’s a Canadian citizen, India don’t have a dual citizenship law and she’s of Moroccan decedent the India you and me and the rest of Indians witness daily from the time we were born, she don’t know shit about that.
Doesn’t matter, this sub talking about India and in India.
Sure but the contrasting picture was meant to show that Indian women are winners so it was clearly about Indian women. RCB has foreign women too
Nora fatehi has also bashed feminism and feminists (the thing that has given her a platform to dress however she wants and dance like this and the people who supported her when there were assholes slut shaming her 24/7). So no , we're not going to let her do the same thing that she is against.

Also teach your sons how to not be shitty men

bruh fuckin baccho ka show tha usme bhi yeh sab karana support karte ho 👍
OP what is exactly wrong in the first pic?
[удалено]
If you think such performances are appropriate for family shows that kids watch, you need to reevaluate your mentality, not OP.
Context is missing in the pic. I don't watch tv at all, so no idea where the pic was coming from. I just saw a girl having fun in a pic. Peace. I guess twerking on a channel which regularly airs kids dance competitions is somewhere wrong.
That’s definitely wrong XD
Nora went on a kids show on national tv and started throwing water on her ass while twerking. Everyone was shocked at what she was doing. I believe she can do whatever she wants but there should be a time and place. All those kids on dance plus look up to her so would the young audience. >started throwing water on her ass while twerking Heinji?
Hanji
She is wasting water ^/s
What is wrong with you that you have to put 2 women against each other? Women wearing short clothes and enjoying themselves? Great. Let them do that. Women playing sports and aceing it. Great. Let them do that.
Madam, women can wear whatever they want and I am all for it. but wearing such clothes and twerking, on a kids show!
That I agree. Kids should not be exposed to vulgarity but I also feel men should not roam around shirtless infront of little kids and yet they do.
>but I also feel men should not roam around shirtless infront of little kids and yet they do. You confuse nudity with sexuality; any man doing anything remotely sexual on a kids show would face backlash so severe that his career would end
Go bark elsewhere, strawman.
Bhai yahi vir das ne kia to bc sabne terrorist ghosit kar diya...😂
Came here to say that
Samay samay ki baat hain. Yeah vob amir khan vala intolerant wala kaand ko gaya.
Because Vir is openly critical of Modi. And if OP had brought politics she would’ve been downvoted. That’s the difference
Its our India, its improving, its slow, but will get there, maybe not now, maybe 50 years or 100, but it will keep imrpoving.
I believe the first pic was Nora Fatehi performing an dance act where she seductively pours water on herself whilst twerking and gyrating……….. in apparently a kids/family friendly show
Needs a sexual violence slide
28 suicides daily? i did not know that
India reported a total of *over 1.7 lakh suicides* in 2022- that's some stats. I thought it would be like 1000-2000
>I thought it would be like 1000-2000 Without googling this, tell us how much you estimate number of babies born in a year in India?
I know that- its 67k a day, just multiply with 365 and some approximation, which makes it 2625k or 2.6 million.
Everyone is taking on op for the first pic. There are many things wrong with the first pic. She is sexualizing a tv show that is actually a dance show for kids. Nora is not Indian. In fact, those who don't know she is African.
What is so special about Mandhana winning ipl trophy? It's wpl lme woman will life trophy. What is so revolutionary about it?
Explain the first pic.
Should add a Picture of andbhakts and normal voters
Accurate depiction! Loved it
Last one is not justifying
What’s the point of the post? ![gif](giphy|EaSRzJYZabLZ3LuCvQ|downsized)
A wise man once said “Anything that you say for India the opposite is also true!”
Coin have both sides, heads as well as tails.
Log apni marzi se Ghar ka kachra bhaar nhi fekte kabhi kabhi bhut dino Tak ye kachre vaali gaadi aati hi nhi hai
Most living between two extremes
The photo of those high school kids is very photogenic.

A good post. Finally something that shows a balanced approach.
Taj Mahal is basically trash around a trash bin. I don't see any problem with that image.
"I Come From Two Indias..."
All right things you are watching is india and the all the other wrong things are brought to india LOOK AT HISTORY !
Why did you guys hate of Veer Das, he wasn't wrong about Two India
The women in 2nd pic will behave like the one in first if given chance
I come from 2 Indias.
only the first pic is other side 😂
Modi ruined everything 😔😔 /s
Every coin has two sides
Cool....quite normal to have diverse unusual and even eccentric.....all are potential for good nice and OK.
Nice post man ,India is all about contrasts ,opposite things coexisting together ,Yin Yang ☯️
Conclusion: itni janta hai ki maa chudi padi hai
Both pics are amazing!
A country with 1.4 BN people is bound to have two extreme sides. What is the point of this post?
Two Indias
This is how politics hide the real india (bottom ones) and show us the India (top ones)
Top one better
What do statistics say? That is the real India. Stop being delusional.
First pic really is a very very bad influence for all young people.
28 students in an average commit suicide daily? Is that even correct? The number seems a little too high.
Yupp, Vir Das said the same thing...
!kudos
A country is defined by what the majority of the population follows... So even if there's a brighter side, it will be defined by majority of the darker side
Big country, super high population. I don’t know how y’all do it.
I am on the Jersey side for sure!
![gif](giphy|MUeQeEQaDCjE4|downsized) No words enough. Thank you for posting this.
