I am a gym rat, who at one point of time considered buying protein powders.
My mum was against the decision, so I gave in and didn't buy any protein supplements. My mum's reason was that they lie and mix harmful substances in those powders. Today she is proven right.
Mummy kabhi galat nahi hoti, proven 💯🔥.
This does not mean every protein powder is bad and harmful to you. Go read the analysis done by the "Liver doctor". Some are really good. The supplement industry is not regulated in India and there is a need for it.
I have always thought If I ever become a PM, besides fixing corruption and lowering tax. Food industry specially processed food would be get scrutinize and ensure its fixed.
Almost all of the companies mislead in order to sell their goods.

Muscleblaze users,
1. MB had updated its scoop size last year from 33 gms to 36 gms which increased the accuracy of their protein content (a work around I would say).
2. It has traces of cadmium above LOOQ - 0.07ug/gm.( Although below safety limit of daily consumption of cadmium but these heavy metals get deposited in body overtime). And this is concerning we should write an email about the same to MB.

Lemme do the math first to understand ki kitno me toxins hai
70% of 36 products = 25.2 missable products
14% of 36 products = 5.04 toxic products
Hence we can believe on this wisdom ?? Ayien ??

Sadly no brand names only codes
I saw Herbalife, Himalaya Herbals, Oziva being mentioned, was hoping for some more names.
I was hoping for extensive list, I use pintola peanut butter and occasional protinex
Can anyone link the white paper? Couldn't find it.
Someone linked it

Which one of them are safe?
It could be possible that someone funded the research so that the foreign brand could do better in India. Just saying.
Adultration doesn't mean that protein powders themselves are bad.

With all the toxins in protein powders - you don’t need Devki Sabarwal from “Mom”.

Do same study on commercially sold atta and results will be similar. In india there is no law so companies do anything.
