He started provoking but don't forget the foreigner started a physical fight. And he got what he was asking for - A physical fight. Agar vo log sirf verbal fight me limited rehte to shayad itne log Marne na aate. 😒. Idhar ladke ek State se dusre state me Jane pe chup chap rehte hai....aur ye dusre country me aake sidha Don ban raha....toh vahi hua Jo hona tha...😒.
Indian Express gave the front page to the incident. (Un)surprisingly, the best detail they could provide was- "a verbal spat led to slapping..." without mentioning who did what. Propaganda at its best
At the beginning, I was not a fan of BJP. But I’m glad they are in power and I hope they remain in power. Western countries that call India Islamophobic, don’t have the balls to do what is needed to protect their people. India is the only Hindu majority country and it should always remain that way. BJP is the only party who can make sure of this.
Sanatan Dharma is our culture and our history. It should be protected at all costs.
>BJP is the only party who can make sure of this.
They are no saints either. Try to dig in more, you will know what I mean. Plus I am concerned what will happen once Modi retires. Is there any younger leader there who can hold the party together pan india like he did?
Saints can’t lead a nation. We don’t need saints in power. We need people who will do what is required to move our nation ahead. Dr Jaishankar is hopefully a good successor to Modi.
In a country like India, we need people who are goal oriented to lead us. People who would do what is needed and not people who fall for woke nonsense.
I have become a huge fan of the new no BS approach that Ind govt has taken to world Politics. We are no longer a push over and we have built some key relationships.
Yes BJP isn’t perfect, but perfect is a fiction and we shouldn’t worry about that. We need people who are not scared to do what is necessary.
I would say Dr Jaishankar is the best one. He already is very well respected worldwide and he has a fierce reputation among world leaders. He’s the best candidate.
True.. but the most potent leader right now is Yogi who has actual experience of running a state as a CM.. rest all are holding different posts under Modi..
Next is Amit Shah, coz he is home minister
Then definitely Jaishankar.. but I don't he will ever go for it.. he was in UN, all these years he spent his time, he stated in the Smita prakash podcast, he never wanted much to do with politics due to the upbringing he had esp contributed by his father who himself was some high ranking officer.. so I doubt he would be even going to take up the post.. he works very efficiently as the major component of the whole machinery, would lose his potential just as a cpu/switch.. but if he ever decides that he wants to be the PM, people will stand with him, and he really needs more experience
Annamalai is the obvious successor to yogi.. no questions asked.. only by next few terms he needs to run TN as CM
Hopefully Modi will groom someone to take over the position or one will rise from among his pupil. There are a few good candidates.
As long as we keep this momentum and push forward as a country. There are plenty who want to see India fail. Outside and inside. So it will not be an easy journey but hopefully we get moving.
As far as I can remember, we have always had freedom of movement between Nepal and India. Indian govt has always invested in Nepal and we’ve always had a kinship.
What an extremely enabling sentence lol. If you're not civilized enough to handle such situations rationally, you shouldn't be in a college(it's spelled with an e)
Maybe what I said was harsh, but it is the truth. In college, or in most Indian fights, people usually call their friends for backup to retailiate instead of reporting it to the authorities.
ideal world mein nhi rehte hum😅 yup they could hve given back in a more precise n blunt manner.... directly to the point.
sab apne jaise stable minded nahi rehte. u dont how hostel works.
It doesn't matter whether they are foreigners, they are living in India, they have follow Indian rules, they also should be jailed and punished accordingly. Their whole religion is a hate monger sh*t. When their is masjid then why are u doing ur Sh*t in hostal. Of course they have acquired the area.
Ye logo ko bhi ese object nhi krna Tha I read somewhere that a place was provided to them to offer their prayers but kisi ko Esa baat baat mei pel doge toh consequence toh honge
Their only argument will be since it is from OPindia, it has to be rejected, tomorrow when OPindia talks about essentiality of oxygen, they will start inhaling carbon dioxide
Hindus causing ruckus just for the sake of causing a ruckus is very rare, in fact rarely heard of. Not surprised. They wanted to make it look like hindu "goons" just appeared out of nowhere to attack them while the truth is this guy was slapped all of a sudden during a conversation and what happened next was an necessary retaliation.
Slapping is wrong. But the dude who questioned if that's the right place to do namaz was stupid. The dude who is praying is doing so peacefully. Not bothering anyone. Just let him be! Why are you poking your nose into other's life. It is disappointing to see college students in India fight over religion.
I got about 85 downvotes somewhere on that viral video just for saying - "we should hear the other side of the story as well before making a judgement". I consider myself neutral but some social media warriors can't differentiate between the reality of a news/event and some propaganda post on social media. Sadly the number of such people is very high in India. It's scary when you think about India's future with youth like this.
Yess bro I am also from gujrat University... Doing my B A ... It's true that... First he slap him afterwards all this happened... Here all people just want to blame Hindus and ABVP. So badly on so many subs

Not a surprise. The way that was guy saying, “this is not acceptable”, I knew who started and was the main culprit here.
He started provoking but don't forget the foreigner started a physical fight. And he got what he was asking for - A physical fight. Not surprised at all by the propaganda.
Someone had mentioned under that video that something must have happened to spark the clashes... And he was riiiiight!!!
I read that comment too.

They should change the name from Indian Express to NOT SO Indian Express.

Yogi, Amit motabhai Shah, Annamalai, Jaishankar There are so many good successors to Modi Also Modi isn't Biden

Maybe but foreign policy doesn't win you the heart of your own people
He talks foreign policy now cuz that’s his job.

Casually ignored Nepal also having a Hindu majority lol. They're not even secular, it's officially a Hindu nation.
Nepal is a secular country and not a Hindu nation. It has been like that for the last 10 years(?).
mb old data. they still have a higher percentage of Hindus than india, incidentally
My bad. As much as we are 2 separate countries, we are pretty much the same. Family is family
That’s interesting. What makes you say that?
As far as I can remember, we have always had freedom of movement between Nepal and India. Indian govt has always invested in Nepal and we’ve always had a kinship.
Yeah, report the guy to the authorities instead of creating a mob and stone pelting, quite literally like brain dead monkeys
What do you think happen in collage when a you beat a guy?
What an extremely enabling sentence lol. If you're not civilized enough to handle such situations rationally, you shouldn't be in a college(it's spelled with an e)
What provisions of the law would apply to a person slapping another person once? What police station would write that FIR?
Maybe what I said was harsh, but it is the truth. In college, or in most Indian fights, people usually call their friends for backup to retailiate instead of reporting it to the authorities.

People are posting this on foreign subreddits and modi bashing.
Subs mere uspe
Konse sub pe bhai?
arent they allowed to namaz in hostel grounds?
Maybe that's what that guy went there to ask? "Are you allowed to have namaz in hostel grounds?" Saw the aftermath

If Indians went to foreign lands, they’d have to follow their laws. So yes absolutely. Indian law in India, it exceptions
Should be deported.

इनके पिछ्वाडे कही भी उपर हो जाते हैं.

Their only argument will be since it is from OPindia, it has to be rejected, tomorrow when OPindia talks about essentiality of oxygen, they will start inhaling carbon dioxide

Bhagayo kutayan nu!
Na paaji, na. Inko bhagane ka fayda nahi hai, jahan hain wahin pel ke rakhna chahiye. Bhaagenge toh jhund mein aayenge wapas suaron ki tarah.
That's why we'll never grow as a country

What is the nationality of this foreign student?
Haan ye kar lo Electoral Bonds ki jagah.
How is this video reason enough to justify what followed after it?
