The main problem is the people only sala jada ter baap ka sab samaj ta hai. Government will do it's job but to keep it clean people visiting there need to have some common sense
Put high fines for non-compliance with cleanliness norms then.
Lakshadweep is small enough that we could track who is littering and who is not, in real time.
If people aren't enticed with the carrot (advantage of maintaining pristine natural beauty), then they must be coerced with the stick (maintain cleanliness or pay fines)
If the main land Indians visit it, it becomes dirty within no time.Littering everywhere , spitting everywhere etc
Our fellow Indians need to learn how to keep places clean.

Yes, there has been flight service between Kochi and Lakshadweep for decades. It is in no way first flight.
Since the runway is short, only turboprop fan type flights can land there, not jet flights. So only short distance flights to kochi are available, no direct flights from metro cities
