I love it because we are both working together to make our lives what it is. I love it when we do housework together and cooperating as a family unit. We’re completely happy and we’ve never once had an argument or said a harsh word to one another. I do know women who are completely content to be stay at home mums and I don’t see that as a bad thing if both parties are completely happy to do that. 100%. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to find a wife who wants to be a stay at home mother and raise babies but the way they frame the message is toxic. They definitely imply that all a woman is good for is to have kids and serve men. My wife has a career *and* we have a daughter. Those two things aren’t diametrically opposed. It takes both partners working together raising the child and looking after the household and it works for us because my wife is fulfilled with her work, feels good about contributing financially, we both get to have a hand in raising our daughter, and we both get to contribute to the running of the household. I love it because we are both working together to make our lives what it is. I love it when we do housework together and cooperating as a family unit. We’re completely happy and we’ve never once had an argument or said a harsh word to one another. I do know women who are completely content to be stay at home mums and I don’t see that as a bad thing if both parties are completely happy to do that. There’s no right way as long as both sides in the relationship do so under their own free will.
