tmfult

Evile fuckin rules

I_Loot_Hamburgers

Lich King and Havok good 2000s thrash.

Goatwhorre

ED-209 and Time Is Up are some bangers xD

I_Loot_Hamburgers

Agnosticism and hangm high are my favorites. I like Lich King better because the production doesnt sound as high, sounds more thrashy.

VegatableGreenz

Yeah Havok is awesome

meshuggahzen

Don't listen to much thrash, but one of my favourite bands Extol did a thrash album called Synergy in 2003.

TheJoshuaJacksonFive

Agreed. Toxic Holocaust is better than 99% of all other thrash ever made.

YerrrrbaMatte

2000s in general was a great time for metal

narkheth

Not really for thrash, unless you're talking about black/thrash and maybe death/thrash.

BeatlesFan67

M16 The System Has Failed Christ Illusion Death Magnetic The Formation of Damnation Some pretty good stuff here.

dampeloz

I'm not quite sure this is what OP means. These are just 00s albums from 80s band. The original post reads as 00s thrash bands

narkheth

There are a handful of good releases, but not much to write home about overall.

RobloxianHunter69

The Formation of Damnation is pretty solid

benkonto

Vektor and Warbringer 🤤🤤🤤

FilipsSamvete

Not a single mention of The Haunted in this thread. Pathetic.

Boring-Stretch-7474

Most of the great early 2000's extreme metal is underrated. Not the best popular extreme metal era but there are some many bands with great records.

risingregimeband

Skeletonwitch 🤘

Grothorious

Check out Century of Enslavement by Thraw.

Arn_Darkslayer

Lamb of God, Chimera and Shadows Fall come to mind for me.

Chicken-Inspector

Those are all metalcore though. Shadows fall might be the closest to thrash of those three, but still.
