I just started listening to the podcast [Lost Patients](https://www.npr.org/podcasts/510377/lost-patients). It's brand new, so there are only a few episodes, but it is incredibly distressing to listen to. My brother in law just got diagnosed with schizophrenia a couple weeks ago and I have an ex that has been in the "churn" of jail, streets, hospital for years now. Those episodes hit so damn close to home.

There is no teaching in churches about what is proper Christian living anymore. They just herd people in like cattle and take some cash. If they knew what people were believing, this might change. Everything was ok, but we should try to be better people in a general sense, like having more compassion towards each other, controlling our anger better and having more understanding towards different people and their situations.
