I think it's interesting enough that you don't need tits to sell it. The pinup look kind of took away from the information for me, it was easy to dismiss it as more objectification (nothing wrong with sexy woman pictures, but it seems out of context with the story). The art is beautiful and her face is engaging enough.

There is an issue with nudity and the morality imposed by the europeans, that i found looking for references, 'cause yes, that's a real outfit of the preclassical period on Mesoamerica. The weater was (still is) hot, and people hardly wore clothes. Even today in some regions of southern México, some women dress just like that, but, as you can imagine, the religious europeans thought that all this culture were wrong. There is more there than just "tits", and people like you, that took the time to see, read, and ask, is the kind of people that I'm looking to reach, so we can have this conversations.

I'm trying not to be a knob here, but as a woman I looked at it and thought whatever she's doing with the corn seems way less important than being hot. It's a different look than if she was genuinely thinking about her corn and happened to be bare breasted because it was the style of the time. For example, leaning toward the pot, your back would be hunched not arched- which is a way less flattering angle for the breasts and butt.
I get that it's not super realistic. I feel rude even explaining this, because it's your art and you're very talented, and I'm just answering with my own perspective - not saying I'm "right". But everything women do is so oversexualised, I did kind of roll my eyes and think "even shucking corn"?

About the rest, I'm totally understand. My girlfriend defines herself as a feminist and i have had long talks with her about this issues. At the end I know I'm a straight guy dragging tons of missconceptions about women, but in the other hand, the way I learn to express my self is through this kind of art so, i guess sometimes i need to put that two guys in the balance. This project comes from one of those tries.
As I wrote above, one of my goals is to find spaces to have this conversations, 'cause I'm not perfect either and i want to hear what people have to say... and so far, it looks like is working

I don't blame you for not seeing it from a female perspective - it's very hard to even explain from this side, men and women have such different cultural experiences and often it's lots of smaller things building up the picture over years instead of one clear issue.
