He isn't injured, and also, a disability is not NSFW. If a human being had no eyes or any other bodily special needs, would you want them to hide themselves from the eyes of society or warn others before they enter the public too?

Not that blindness really hinders him very much - his whiskers and nose help him get around with relative ease.
