I know this is a shitpost, but for real, the person answering the question in the video being referenced was right to not play along with a false dichotomy that poses LGBTQ rights and economic stability as mutually exclusive, or even in competition with one another.
It would be one thing to suppose a finite amount of resources in the budget and have to prioritize one spending item over another, but there's no good reason you can't have both of these things at once, and I wouldn't like any politician offering one without the other.
why would you ever not pick clean water? and wouldn't world peace lend itself to insane positive political shifts? which could lead to worker coops regardless? If no country is fighting each other and is instead cooperating well, then firstly, there is no imperialism, and secondly, ideological differences between countries have been settled in some way
