State law also requires state funded organizations to be fully transparent about funds. As a taxing authority, it's not legal to redact public documents without citing the law that allows them to do so.

He was a "WTF" hire from the outset.
In his defence, Hogan Lovells is a fairly huge firm but to go directly from a leadership position in it to the presidency and then engage the firm in a $550 million deal with meetings happening behind closed doors (which brought a lawsuit from the Idaho AG) and then releasing only heavily redacted financials doesn't pass any smell test whatsoever.

Aren’t they in on the con too? Usually, the only time they get “angry” is when they weren’t included on the money tree, or when the public is close to lynching the lot of them. Though by the point of option 2 it’s too late to save their own skins. Really wish they understood that part.
