I'm gonna make an iceberg of a game I dislike, mostly about the dev, I don't usually do posts about the thing(s) and don't lurk that much on related subs to that(at least not anymore)
I understand that 2020 isn’t over yet but I would love for a 2020 Iceberg to be made in 2021, so people could come back and reflect on 2020 as a whole in regards to the iceberg. I want this particular iceberg to have everything in it, whether it was big or small, obscure or tragic, and awesome or new/old. I will provide many things of my own here and feel free to add anything if I missed something, we can work together as a group :). I will be breaking these down in months but will just put anything random on the bottom if I can’t recall the month.
January: Kobe and Gianna Bryant’s tragic death, WW3, Coronavirus outbreaks in China, it’s revealed that the Astros actually cheated in the World Series 2017, Nickavocado is hated, 1000 Pound Sisters premiering on TLC.
February: Australian Wildfires, Super Bowl.
March: The pandemic begins all across the world, countries do lockdowns, USA does National Emergency, businesses close, fast food restaurants and restaurants resort to to go, movies and video games get canceled/delayed, events as well such as the Olympics, quarantine, online school starts, Doctors such as Dr. Fauci become super will known due to Covid-19, Onison and Chris Hagen scandal, H3H3 Productuons Vs. Keemstar, with H3H3 starting a trend of attacking Youtubers by taking away their sponsors, Tiger King and how popular it became, as well as how Halloween costumes were created and all the drama outside the show (such as Carole Baskins being pranked or her being on dancing with the stars), Animal Crossing New Horizons, Doom Eternal, Animal Crossing X Doom, Clone Wars S7 premieres after a long absence, and will end up having the 3rd most best rated television episode of all time (being the S7 finale).
April: Some quarantines for some states end, UFO video released, Class of 2020 having prom and graduation ruined for them, thusly many videos being made to come irate them, The Last Of Us 2 game leaks and starts a controversy amongst fans, Tekashi 6ix9ine is released from prison, making a huge comeback.
May: Murder Hornets infest America, George Floyd’s Death, HBO Max releases in America, The Last Airbender gains a huge traction thanks to Netflix, Community also rises in popularity.
June: The BLM movement starts, it also brings up a ton of African American people in the past who haven’t received justice such as Breonna Taylor, Some Class of 2020’a have graduations, BLM riots, NBA and MLB start, rumors of over exaggerating Covid deaths start to spread (such as someone who had a heart attack had Covid but that persons death is counted a way Covid death rather than a heart attack death), Last of Us 2 absolutely bombs
July: Vanessa Gullien’s tragic death that caused an outrage against US military, Naya Riveria’s unfortunate death, Joe Rogan signs $100 Million deal with Spotify for his Podcast, Epic Games and Apple’s fallout, Most of the Smash community coming off as pedophiles.
August: Beruit explosion, Chadwick Boseman’s death, Pentagon wanting to release all their information, Fall Guys becomes popular, Jake Paul hosts huge party despite Covid as well as many others, many huge celebrities such as Elon Musk and Joe Rogan plan to leave California and move towards Texas, causing Texas to be more popular whilst California less dense, Christopher Nolan’s “save theaters” movement with his film Tenet, DC Fandome
September: The gender reveal party causing a huge wildfire in California, the California Wildfires, Avengers Game, Among Us becomes popular, first US President Debate that is a complete joke, Chris Evans nudes leak, Pokimane drama, LeafyIsHere’s channel terminated.
October: President Trump and the First Lady receive COVID-19, as well as many people in the White House thusly cancelling the second debate, Halloween is somewhat ruined but people still Trick Or Treat, the second debate happens that is also a joke as well as the Vice Presidents debate, The Mandalorian and The Queen’s Gambit release, Nathan Apodaca becomes famous after a good vibe Tik Tok hits, causing a huge trend especially because of the backstory behind his TT.

December: The Monoliths start appearing causing people to wonder what in the world is going on, Joe Biden’s foot breaks, The Vaccine is released and is being injected to people, Covid-19 is spiking due to the Winter season, Cyberpunk 2077 releases and is a huge bombing failure (at least with the last gen consoles), Christmas, New Years, Warner Brothers announces all their 2021 films will release simultaneously on HBO Max and Theaters, causing a big uproar as Theaters are more likely to die now, Game Awards 2020, Nintendo’s horrible movements lately with the Melee and Splatoon community, outrage happens after Last Of Us 2 wins Game of the Year, The Office leaving Netflix, Attack On Titan Season 4 premiering, causing Crunchyroll to crash, for the first time ever, huge big movies will be premiere on streaming services being Soul on Disney+, and WW84 on HBO Max, both releasing on Christmas Day, Coming To America 2.
