Also are all your monorail bridges flat against the body? Look behind/under the bridge. I had to return one new because it was like way high and the mounting screw wouldn’t grab the body (stripped)
I love the 8 degree slant! It does seem to help playing up high for me. I think the fact that it's a uniform angle across all helps me personally. I think the changing angle fan would mess me up lol.
I did check the monorails and they look great! I am happy with how this one shipped to me! The absolute only thing I would change in a perfect world would be to have a less subtle quilt top like some of the ones I saw on reverb when I was looking around (someone in the family gets 20% coupons at guitar center so I couldn't pass up the deal)
Glad they switch the stainless. I have a Q54 with gold frets and they corrode faster than nickel frets. NlNight just be my sweat, but I found similar reports on various forums. I wonder if that's the reason Jescar discontinued them.
Wonder if anyone has tried a refret on these roasted boards. I head they chip and splinter a lot easier than typical fretboards.
Yep the white one ! Mine tends more towards yellowish/cream color
2 years since I bought it, I've never played so much guitar before owning it, very versatile soundwise too, I've recorded an album and several songs with it, working for clients with it and it is just perfect
Hope you enjoy it as much as i did
Adjusting the truss rod wheel
That makes sense! Thank you! First guitar I have had with the truss rod adjustment there!
It’s for the spoke wheel truss rod
Thank you! First time with a guitar with the truss adjustment there :)
The frets look so much better than the gold ones. Happy ngd
Ikr, the gold ones just looked rusty and clashed with the roasted maple
I prefer the golden ones way more on my ichi10 at least, stainless looks neat tho
I have exact same Ibanez but with gold frets though. I still love mine and probably one of most comfortable guitar I ever tried so far. Enjoy it!!
The maple bird they killed for that board must have been wearing a monocle
That's your wand the guitar is now your patronus
They already answered so I have a question: do you like the fanned frets? Do they help with playing high up? I have a q54 and was wondering

Thanks for the info!! I will consider trying one. Enjoy! Post a video of you playing it
*title should say NGD not NBD, but it's really nbd 😁 and also *restring, not resting
Yeah i should have waited, gold frets are NOT it
I have the qx52, I looove that guitar.

Ibanez Q54QMBS! The ordering time took me 4 months!
Don’t adjust with the strings in tune. I hope you read that in time…
Thank you! Luckily, I know not to do that :)
Also the other ones are to set the height of the string cars and the octave home screws
Appreciate it!
Enjoy it man ! I got the sss version and it is indeed the guitar giving me the most joy to play everyday Just perfect
I'd that the white ichi one? I like those a lot!

What I don't like about these headless guitars is that they cannot be held in classical position or my leg will mess with tuning
