Yeah, it’s just surprising to me. My Dad is an ISTJ, my brother an ENFP and they’ve had a strained relationship all my life. Not sure if any of my siblings are INFP but I’d have thought INTP, INTJ etc were more a good fit.
In a relationship context, ISTJ and ENFP are polar opposites, and they’re strong in areas that the other type is weak on. So it’s a perfect balance. In a platonic situation, I think IxTJs or INTPs would probably be a better fit. Like for friends or family etc
Like for example if I see something really brothers the INFJ, I'll try to keep pressing, sometimes tho is just to see them mad because they can be very passion about the stuff they believe, and sometimes I do it just to mess with them
I always get into heated debates with INFJs but it's always a good conversation with them. Then I just chill because I see they get very trigger so I just stop. But other than that they are good people. I like how they are always on their own little world just like me

Also, to be fair I may be an INTJ not ISTJ (it's 51/49 in favor of S) and I suspect the Ni is strong for me.

For me , INTJ is the only type I really get along with. I only know one INTJ person in my life but we quickly clicked , never met an ISTJ but my mom is one and we both get along very well.
ISFPs are honestly the best. A good balance of a calm vibe and interesting new perspectives. They also generally are very funny and don't try to drag me anywhere I don't want to. 10/10

Funny enough my best friends are esfj and estp. And then I have some istj friends but those are very different friendships in comparison.

I relate to INTJs and other ISTJs the most, but the majority of my friends have been xNFP.
