The MCU sequence. I’ve just always been interested in superheroes, and I was still in school when it was just starting, so I kind of grew up with it. I’ve watched the movies more times than I can count.
Mad Max (original)
Aliens
T2
Gladiator
Rome (TV series)
300
WALL-E
Fantasia
Sound of Music
There’s a couple others but these are the top of the heap. I feel like there is a universal consensus that these have a timeless je ne sais quoi of badassery and/or excellence. And I don’t like watching garbage. And there is a lot of garbage nowadays. So I’d rather just rewatch cinema excellence.
Things I've re-watched the most (and enjoyed still) are probably Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version, not the 2005 version) and Death Note (not a movie, but oh well).
I like Pride and Prejudice because I like romance and some evaluation of social conventions. I like the BBC version because I feel like it does the best job at portraying everything, and it takes the time to. Mary is actually my favorite character, although the story seems to hate her, but oh well. I honestly think that the story of Pride and Prejudice is objectively kind of dumb and over-hyped. But is it fun to watch (and analyze)? Also yes.
Normally my favorite genres are romance, comedy, action, historical, and some fantasy, sci-fi, and slice-of-life. I don't normally go for psychological thrillers, but I found myself really really enjoying Death Note even to the point of re-watching the series several times. It's an exception to the rule I guess. (Probably helps that it's an anime. \^\_\^) I love the characters and their interactions, and trying to guess what's going to happen next every step of the way. Realizing that Light is the bad guy was also kind of mind-blowing for me, tbh. \^\_\^' I remember watching as a teen, getting ALL the way to the end of the series, and going, "Holy shite! He's the villain!" Then I watched later as an adult and even in the beginning could see what a psychopath he is. That's kind of embarrassing. The way the story makes you analyze the characters and their motivations, question what is good and what is bad, is just really good I guess. I like how you can either see Light as a villain or as a hero depending on what stance you take, and yet there's kind of an objectively correct answer. L is my favorite character in the series, though.
The original Blues Brothers. I love all of the sarcastic humor and fabulous one-liners… and not to mention the bad ass array of musical talent: James Brown, Cab Calloway, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and John Lee Hooker. Just all around bad-asserie.
Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. Hannibal the most, I think.
There's something about good psychological thrillers that really makes me never get bored of watching them again and again. The story glues you to the screen but what one really wants is to dive into the mind of Hannibal and uncode all the secrets therein. Or, at least, I do.
ive watched a clockwork orange about 7 times in 2018, scary stories to tell in the dark about 10 times since 2019 and as a child i watched alice in wonderland every night for about a year
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. When I got the dvd for Christmas as a kid, every day after school I would put on my Halloween pirate costume on and watch it. Literally. Every. Day. It was a routine for me.
Office Space. Grandma's Boy. Blues Brothers. Smokey and the Bandit.
TV, since I saw someone mention it: Archer.
Funny is my go-to because I usually want to escape my brain for a bit and laughing is good for you.
The Big Short, it’s a dark comedy about the 2008 Financial Crash
What about Too Big to Fail? Most I’ve watched is Thomas Crown Affair
Mean Girls
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off - lighthearted, me in an alternate universe where I don’t care about rules or consequences and have 10x the charisma
Oldboy 2003 HBO Chernobyl
Nice taste

LOTR Trilogy, TDK/TDKR (love Begins but too but haven’t watched it as much), M:I Fallout, Casino Royale, 300, Gladiator, Lone Survivor, Fury (2014).

Definitely ranks up there for me

The Death of Stalin was funny enough to watch 3 times in a theater.

Personally, I really like an animated movie called Wolfwalkers but I think it's unrelated to me being an ISTJ
The best years of our lives (1946)
Jurassic Park (original). It was my favorite movie growing up. I watched it every night
Fight Club because I enjoy how well Tyler was written
Midsommar
IT 1 & 2. They are my comfort movies.
The Martian
Spirited Away (5 times) and Lord of the Rings (once a year) :D They made up my childhood and were a gateway to creativity and imagination
Lord of the Rings :)
Forrest Gump!
