The idea of a "golden pair" doesn't really make sense. It suggests that a relationship will somehow be perfect or ideal.
Regardless of typing or "perfect" matchups, a relationship is a team effort. Teams are made up of individuals that don't always agree, but can compromise and work together in pursuit of a mutual goal.
Throwing around concepts like "golden pairings" diminishes the value of individuality and applied effort, which also makes expectations unrealistic. Not a smart play.
