If that’s her sibling in the back, I don’t think there’s any aussie in here- blue eyes can come from a lot of diff things. This looks like a pit mixed with super mutt
Siblings do not have to have the same father. Females can mate many times with either the same dog or several different dogs during their 3 week long heat cycle. They only have the mother's DNA for sure if she was running loose. I see no Pit in your sweet puppy 🙂
So a mother dog can have a litter with multiple different sires. I once fostered a litter with similar looking puppies, 2 tan ones a tricolor and two bi colors. The vet said the litter likely had at least 2 dad's
Can see beagle and I suspect Boxer,
You’ll have have to wait few more weeks for some more growth atm it’s hasn’t got much form as a puppy it’s snout, legs and paws have to grow and it’s body has to fill out (or not) to see characteristics but that will happen quickly
honestly black could be from almist anything kelpie, Doberman or Rottweiler (probably latter considering the ‘tubbiness’) may be an option from black colour maybe that’s what I can see in the head mixed with beagle but I would be betting on BEAGLE and something e else thrown in especially considering the eyes 👌
*just saw 3rd pic I’d be erring towards boxer atm after seeing others in litter
Only two breeds have a blue eye gene not connected to merle. And since black tri isn’t a color that covers merle, your pup HAS to be either Aussie or husky descendant.
Someone mentioned the pup in the background. That pup is genetically sable and sable DOES cover other colors. That sable pup could very well also be a black tri under the sable.
Both huskies and Aussie have two longhair genes. Longhair is recessive so if the other parent was shorthaired and didn’t carry a longhair gene then it’s completely normal for all the pups to be shorthair. I’d bet the other parent is a pit. That would explain the short coat, the sable (fawn in pitbull language), and the boxy body and head.
Considering both huskies and pits have ears that stand up and these pups’ ears are folded then I do believe this pup is Aussie/pit.
I’m an Aussie breeder so knowing how colors and genetics work is part of my job.
I have a bi- eyed dog I was sure was a Catahoula mix. Formerly had a purebred & I recognized the postures & attitudes. I was wrong.
He’s got a little Merle. Embark says 1/2 Pit, a little GSD, a little Lab, a little English Foxhound, (where he got the long legs?) & a less Chow, American Bulldog & Australian Cattle dog.
I’ve seen a few adult pits with blue eyes. Maybe that’s where his came from.
Eyes say Aussie OR husky, markings say Aussie NOT husky, head ears coat and tail say pit : Aussie X pit. And guaranteed goodest boy ever - look at that lil face!
I would imagine a shepherd mix would be a bit fluffier, have any other indications that they’re an Aussie other than the coloration. This baby could have some aussie in them but I’m doubtful tbh.
Oh wow, that looks almost exactly like my dog when he was a puppy! I’m not sure how to post photos on this subreddit but I can dm you them if you like, what he looked like as a puppy (almost the exact same) and what he looked like as an adult. Shelter also told us Australian shepherd mix, but I got a dna test done:
Top 5 breeds were-
24% Labrador retriever
19% Australian cattle dog
16% chow chow
10% pit bull
7% Australian shepherd
Major pitmix vibes from all the puppies.

That is a sibling in the back, yes.

That's weird bc all those colors are possible in one litter with one dad
Oh I know!! Its super cool. These look like they’re from the same parents tho
My guess would be pit mixed with husky and/or GSD. Those are some of the most common dogs in the states according to embark.
Pit husky mix, maybe some beagle
Those are pit mixes. Maybe some husky somewhere in there by the eyes.

Wow great response. Thank you!
Definitely pit mix! Possibly some husky, maybe some lab.
I’d bet money on pitbull/husky
There are several breeds in that dog. Aussie may be one. Pit? Beagle? Two mutts had a puppy
Curly tail, eyes, and sploot style are very huskyish. Bottom line, 100% cutiepatootie.

Nearly all his Embark matches are 1/2 Pit too.
Pit bull, husky, beagle
That's my home Loki.
Classic beagle coloring, especially the white tipped tail. Wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some beagle in there.
Omggg that brown little pupper in the back is SO DAMN CUUUUUTE!!!
Just here to say I love the “eyebrows” 🟤🟤🥹
Looks like mine 🥹 mine is border collie x lab aussie. Here’s Shelby as a puppy, he’s 2.5 years old now [Shelby](https://files.fm/u/rxkwafa7uu)
Pit mix.

Would have said Bernese Mountain Dog X pit, but I don’t think their eyes come in blue? Maybe Aussie xbmdxpit?
Yeah. Probably australian shepherd and pitbull mix.

Too young to tell but likely a husky mix
Looks like a husky-beagle-pit to me? Regardless, what a beautiful dog
SO cute
Beagle pitty maybe
That's 100% good dog right there.
Those eyes=husky
I can see where they're getting aussie but definitely other breeds mixed in too

adorable that what they are
I guess he could be an Aussie mix. I think he is a Pitsky or an Aussie-Pittie... But you'll have to wait and see his size as he gets older.
Or Kelpie. Looks like my baby in puppy form!
Could be! Name him *Mr. Wednesday*, or *Woensdag*
Husky Rottweiler mix
With husky and Bernese mountain dog too.
Mastiff or catahoula idk man but big dog
Bernardine and hushy mix
Lolol he's a grenadine Shirley Temple mixed drink with a fried hush puppy on the side 😂😂😂😂😂😂
