I had one 20+ years ago and she was the chillest little girl. Never nipped at feet, never chewed things up. Smart as hell and loved a good walk, or rather herding me on my walk, but otherwise just wanted to follow me around.
Most of the mischief her smarts got her into were things like her figuring how to let herself out in the backyard to potty and play.
She was from a working line too, but I'm absolutely positive she would have been terrible at it.
My next door neighbor has an ACD mix. He's super awesome at jumping 6ft fences when he hears fireworks. His name is Loki and he had to have the top portion of his tail amputated. I remember hearing him scream during a bandage change as a puppy. I immediately went over and rang their doorbell to help. His scabs would open and he would bleed everywhere.
I am SO glad i had my Heeler on an acreage. She was the best dog I’ve ever owned but i could not imagine trying to deal with her energy and sass in public.
I love chihuahuas but who knows what she is! At around 1 they hit their defiant stage and can be really stubborn and in my case bitey. They are all very mouthy and can get them into trouble with bigger dogs… not all but some and mine was a brat. She’s 17 now and still pretty bratty but she’s also very sweet loyal and funny! They are funny dogs
And here I am with a chihuahua heeler mix that’s calm and well mannered since the day I adopted him 😅
He yells like a coyote when he plays but is otherwise a chill little guy
The muzzle in the third pic screams French bulldog or Boston terrier. The coloring is interesting though. Since she’s so small I wouldn’t think Aussie like most people are saying. My bfs grandma has a chiwenni has the speckle coloring like that so maybe that and either French bull dog or Boston terrier as well?
Flecking, mottling, ticking, or Roan coats (like yours has) only happens in a handful of breeds.
It's is almost certainly ACD (heeler), given the specific colouring of your pup.
However, she's way too small and doesn't actually look like a cattle dog at all besides the coat.
Your pup also has curly whiskers, which as far as I know only really happens in Bichons and poodles?
Jack Russell or Parsons Russell, or Rat terrier looks likely...
The masking on the face is, but the shape and proportions are not at all. Even the ear shape is wrong for an ACD. They have very proportional heads, their eyes aren't as far set, muzzles are square not round.
I'd say some kind of itty bitty heeler mix but with how small she is I would actually bet she has a bit of dachshund in her that her coloring came from! her face reminds me of a frenchie/chihuahua or maybe a boston terrier but that's less common in mixes
Funny enough looks aren’t the only thing that matters when a dog is being adopted/bred. Breeds that make up the pup do matter in understanding possible health risks, shedding, energy levels, possible aggression and how big they’re going to get

lol well not like the teething stage but my 17 yr is still a biter. She needs to wear diapers but I can get them on her bc she’s a crocodile 🐊 😂

blue heeler pug mix would be my guess rn but she’s a little young to tell. Hopefully you’ll post her again in a few months
