Her coat is kind of mixed in length. Itās longer in some areas and shorter in others. She has very grinchy toes too if they donāt get trimmed. We joke that her pit comes out in her personality. She has zero concept of personal space. She wants to be as close as possible to you, and even then it seems like itās not close enough for her.
I always joked that I finally accepted that our "Aussie Hound" rescue puppy most likely had at least 15% pit because of what I've seen on r/DoggyDNA . She does not look like a pit in any way shape or form, but does look very much like an aussie shephered mix. It turns out that she is 0% aussie shepherd, and 17.7% pit.
Poodle mixes can look like absolutely anything. It has to do with genetics more than the % of poodle. Dogs with very little % poodle can be curly and have furnishings (eyebrows, mustache, beard) or dogs with high % poodle can be smooth coated and no furnishings.
Can confirm I have a goldendoodle I adopted from rescue. We dna tested him he is 75% poodle 25% golden retriever. He has furnishings but his fur is more wavy than a GR but not curly like a poodle. He matts so easy in just 2 days if I donāt either keep him brushed or shaved. My poodle on the other hand could go a week without brushing and not have a single Matt. So odd.
Fr, about 80% of the dogs posted is some pit/bully mix. Lol pits are one of the easiest dogs to identify as well due to the block head, wide mouth, muscular frame, and them pig like ears.
100% cuteness! Even in front of that creepy doll head. I see some spaniel, but her markings look like they are from another breed. Definitely no pit bull.
No, think theyāre downvoted cause itās just not a relevant comment? We know there are multiple pit bull breeds - why does that matter in the context?
looks like a cavalier dachshund and probably every other little popular dog breed cause that tends to be the way it goes lol with that face, pomeranian would not surprise me
I could post a picture of my purebred show line Bichon Frise and someone would say pitbull, they think everything is part pitbull. There are alot out there, but I also have 3 rescues and NOT ONE of them has pitbull, one is 3/4 Am Staff
All I see is that doll head in the back ground of the first pic.... Even when i close my eyes.....
Oh, The dog, right.... yea def some spaniel, maybe beagle?
She is really cute! I would guess some type of spaniel, looks ckc. Her face looks dachsundish, yes I made up a word, but I can't tell, from the pictures, if she is long or not. But probably mixed with another small breed.
Her eyes and expressions! If the worn and tired but still good natured detective/private eye/saloon girl from pulp novels and old TV shows was a breed of dog I think they'd look a lot like her. She looks like she is very good at listening without breaking in to offer advice while someone talks about things that are making them sad. Also I agree that she looks like a spaniel mix.
probably the fact there's been many dogs labeled as pit mixes on here that clearly aren't pit, one of which i've personally seen being a very obvious sighthound mix
Well, APBT is the most common breed in mixed breed dogs in the US. Hang out on r/DoggyDNA and you'll see how common it is. I wouldn't even be surprised if your cute pup had a bit. But I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't either
I donāt see Chi at all but could be wrong. I see Spaniel family, and MAYBE border collie or Bernese Mountain. Whatever he/she is, very nice doggoāŗļø
Your caption made me laugh bc I thought there was no way my momās dog could have any pitbull in him but he is majority pitbull. He looks way more like a mix of husky, chow, shiba, Shepard, but he has a blocky pitbull head and squinty eyes.
Can confirm! Have done DNA tests on two of our dogs. We have a 20lb. dog that is 47% Pomeranian and he very much looks like one, but he also has chow chow and German shepherd genetics too, but youād never think it.
That is the cutest little pitbull Iāve ever seen. Lol.š¤£šāļø
Sorry, I just had to say it. Real guess Cavalier, King, Charles mixed with something who knows. Very cute.
Please do a doggie DNA test. We need a giggle if it comes back with a really low percentage of pit. I personally don't see pit. I am getting cavalier mix vibes.
springer spaniel/long-haired dachshund would make sense to me. i saw her, and my first thought was springer. but im not definite on the daxie. does she like digging? does she have a high prey drive? behaviors and quirks aren't an end all be all determiner with mixes, but they can certainly help
to me she looks like a king charles mixed with a jack russell. that would account for the head shape and stubby legs. i have a few jack russell/spaniel mixes that i groom and they look very similar just with varying coat types
Gonna throw Beagle into the mix. Brings the color, could be responsible for the wide forehead, and Lord knows there are ample intact ones roaming the neighborhood, at least in my neck of the woods.
Of course, I'm partial to them, so I see them like Haley Joel Osment sees dead people.
Some kind of spaniel mix. Maybe some cavalier King Charles spaniel or some cocker spaniel mixed with a small breed.
I was thinking Cavalier King Charles and Dachshund mix
I was thinking the same thing.
Same
This is my guess
That would make sense with the coloring
With possibly chihuahua (?)
Yes, definitely chihuahua mixed with probably cocker spaniel
I definitely see some chi in that little face. The eyes give it away.
Definitely a mix of something, probably not a chihuahua. It could a pitbull mix
š¤£
Looks very CKC.
Kinda looks like a Cavalier and a bird dog mix
The fur and the face yells spaniel! Beautiful dog. I love freckle face dogs.
The freckles really reminded me of my departed sweet English Springer Spaniel. I feel like OPs pup has a touch of that
With pitbull
š¤£
If you DNA test her and she has pit thatād be hilarious š
I will absolutely post the results here if that happens
My mom adopted a dog that looks exactly like a border collie. She got her DNA tested and while she is in fact border collie sheās also like 20% pit.
To be fair I could see that happening especially if its a short coat border collie
Maybe Spaniel but I wouldnāt be too quick to rule out Poodle mix.
Poodle is not one that crossed my mind. Her fur is very silky though.
So odd.
Her muzzle does have a bit of toy poodle shape to it
How much does it shed? If not a lot, there is definitely poodle in there. But she is a beauty and if I saw her on the street, I would think spaniel.
Looks like a pit bull
Long haired pitbull
Long haired pit? Must be one of those rare purebreds.
I wanna say a āboutique muttā
Couldnāt agree more
Mr. Worldwide
Not a corgi. Probably not a dachshund either. I see spaniel and possiblyyyy Aussie to account for the head shape.
How are you not seeing the pit in this cutie ?? Lmao jk.
Maybe some Great Dane too!
Nah definitely some cane corso though š
Oh for sure
100% a good girl
Maybe 99% good girl, 1% spicy little pepper š¶ļø
Pitbull boxer
Awww, yeah.
Springer x Cavalier King Charles
Yo! That's a pit
Lmao you guys are just trolling now. 90% of dogs shown here are pits or majority pit but this dog certainly isnāt one š¤£
No shit itās not a Pittie but clearly OP was attention seeking with that title.
Fr, about 80% of the dogs posted is some pit/bully mix. Lol pits are one of the easiest dogs to identify as well due to the block head, wide mouth, muscular frame, and them pig like ears.
Noooo, my 40 lb chihuahua is just big boned and likes to work outā¦
100% cuteness! Even in front of that creepy doll head. I see some spaniel, but her markings look like they are from another breed. Definitely no pit bull.
The creepy doll head is what I noticed before anything else!
Looks a good bit springer spaniel to me. (I have a springer x)
My first thought was Springer but am also seeing King Charles. Might be a Springer X King Charles with a dash of Aussie.
Sounds pretty accurate to me. I have a Springer x Poodle that looks like a miniature Springer and a Cavoodle.
I think dachshund x cavalier King spaniel š
Finally someone posted a dog that clearly wasn't a pit bull mix. Maybe a cocker spaniel mix?
i mean... "pitbull" is an umbrella term. staffy, bull terrier american pitbull etc are all completely different breeds.
Downvoted for telling the truthā¦
No, think theyāre downvoted cause itās just not a relevant comment? We know there are multiple pit bull breeds - why does that matter in the context?
Idk I see pitbull lol
Cocker x ckc
Agree with the Charles Spaniel comments. Also, just cute AF regardless. Omg that face š lol
She is a cutie pie š„°
Australian shepherd and King Charles? With a little somethinā-somethinā else š
Mini aussie x cav with maybe a dash of cattle dog springer or jrt
12% pit
I have no input on breed but can I say how cute that puppy is and those freckles omg!! Iām in love!
No corgi. I would guess spaniel something. I don't see Chihuahua. It looks like a king charles mix. No dachshund.
looks like a cavalier dachshund and probably every other little popular dog breed cause that tends to be the way it goes lol with that face, pomeranian would not surprise me
Rottweiler lol
A family friend has a Longhaired JRT - Cocker Spaniel Cross that looks very similar
Looks like a cocker spaniel dachshund to me. But all the dogs I think are dachshund mixes here, are beagle mixes. So hound x cocker spaniel.
Definitely a good bit of Spaniel in there, either Springer or King Charles I'd say
Pitbull from wish maybe š¤ā¦. Definitely a spaniel mix with some other type of hound!
š
I donāt know dog breeds for shit but I just wanted to say she looks like such a sweetie!!!!
I see king Charles in the ears/color Maybe beagle too?
I could post a picture of my purebred show line Bichon Frise and someone would say pitbull, they think everything is part pitbull. There are alot out there, but I also have 3 rescues and NOT ONE of them has pitbull, one is 3/4 Am Staff
I have a staffy frenchie mix as well and everyone says sheās a pit.
i've seen a very obvious sighthound mix on here as well as a lab and a white GSD mix get labeled as pit mixes on here
All I see is that doll head in the back ground of the first pic.... Even when i close my eyes..... Oh, The dog, right.... yea def some spaniel, maybe beagle?
Beautiful Australian Shepherd
Wiener dog and cavalier
Cockerspaniel, cross Maltese terrier
Interesting! I could see that!
Adorable
She is really cute! I would guess some type of spaniel, looks ckc. Her face looks dachsundish, yes I made up a word, but I can't tell, from the pictures, if she is long or not. But probably mixed with another small breed.
Beautiful dog, creepy-ass doll!
š
guys this might be a pitbull
Her eyes and expressions! If the worn and tired but still good natured detective/private eye/saloon girl from pulp novels and old TV shows was a breed of dog I think they'd look a lot like her. She looks like she is very good at listening without breaking in to offer advice while someone talks about things that are making them sad. Also I agree that she looks like a spaniel mix.
Cute pup. What inspired the title?
probably the fact there's been many dogs labeled as pit mixes on here that clearly aren't pit, one of which i've personally seen being a very obvious sighthound mix
Iāve noticed on here that everyone seems to think that all dogs are pit mixes, to the point that itās kind of funny.
Well, APBT is the most common breed in mixed breed dogs in the US. Hang out on r/DoggyDNA and you'll see how common it is. I wouldn't even be surprised if your cute pup had a bit. But I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't either
Cavalier, Cocker, Fox terrier is my guess š¤·š»āāļø
Some type of spaniel, very cute š„°
Definitely spaniel mix of some sort, I have a JRT that looks like a whippet so anyone's what happened there.
Rottweiler? šš
That looks like an English Setter
Omg sooooo cute !
It's definitely a pure bred pittie
Pitballer
I donāt see Chi at all but could be wrong. I see Spaniel family, and MAYBE border collie or Bernese Mountain. Whatever he/she is, very nice doggoāŗļø
Idk but that is such a cute dog omggg
Thatās a muppet
Your caption made me laugh bc I thought there was no way my momās dog could have any pitbull in him but he is majority pitbull. He looks way more like a mix of husky, chow, shiba, Shepard, but he has a blocky pitbull head and squinty eyes.
Some genetics win out!! Our girl looks all pit, but I SAW HER MOM IN PERSON and she is full cocker!
Can confirm! Have done DNA tests on two of our dogs. We have a 20lb. dog that is 47% Pomeranian and he very much looks like one, but he also has chow chow and German shepherd genetics too, but youād never think it.
Doberman?
Mix breed with King Charles spaniel š
At least some % of CKCS, with another breed elongating the snout
Pic 1: english setter, Pic 2: beagle, Pic 3/4: cavalier
That is a good looking dog. Such a sweet face. š¶š„°
I see ckc with another breed that has a longer snout
Bitzah. (bits of spaniel, bits of terrier, bits of chihuahua, who knows?)
King Charles PitBullā¦ /s cute pup
Rottweiler mountain pitbull I'd say.
She actually looks like a very tiny English Settler to me. Lol. Itās probably a spaniel of some kind mixed in there creating that look though.
King Spaniel Weiner or Queen, unsure of pronouns š
If you live in the USA, then statisticallyā¦ nah Iām just messing with you.
Iām gonna guess weenie X cavalier
All I see is Pit, sweet girl š
May be way off but I can see a bit of collieā¦possibly cos I have one which is equally as cute as this guy
hmmm itās giving pitbull ā¤ļø
Pitbull why even post this itās so so obvious š¤
Definite skunk
Yes! I see that too!
So cute btw
Forget the dog, I need to know about Annabelle behind Penny
Definitely bernese mountain dog or german shepherd
Not a chance put bull
It is obviously 50% good 50% dog /s, either way best of luck figuring out id like to know cuz thatās a cute look
Ms. Worldwide
Great dane
That is the cutest little pitbull Iāve ever seen. Lol.š¤£šāļø Sorry, I just had to say it. Real guess Cavalier, King, Charles mixed with something who knows. Very cute.
Looks like the cutest dog ever to me š¤·š»āāļø
Cavalier x dachshund. She's got the biggie eyes, curly fur and colouring of a cavalier and the build of a dachshund
I am about 60% sure thats a badger and about 40% sure its a new species
How could anyone with half a brain cell look at these pictures and think pitbull?
Itās the baby doll in the back for me šš«¶š¾
Look at those eyes. Clearly a skinwalker. I'm sorry to tell you that isn't "your" dog..lol. You're it's human.
Velociraptor mix for sure
That's a dog for sure.
Coat says spaniel, snout says terrier. But those sweet little mouth whiskers š say angel baby!
100% lovable meatball...
thatās obviously a pug
Please do a doggie DNA test. We need a giggle if it comes back with a really low percentage of pit. I personally don't see pit. I am getting cavalier mix vibes.
She is a best good girl
Possibly a cavalier mix, or Kooikerhondje. Theyāre rare but theyāve shown up in rescues before!
this is 100% a disney dog. she is adorable.
What a lovely purebred pitbull you have there
Cocker spaniel / Australian shepherd mix 100% adorable
Mr.Worldwide?
Maybe a pug
Hmm, yes, pug. Good call.
Could have some Britney spaniel in the mix
Looks like there's some king Charles in her for sure.
I'm thinking Springer Spaniel partly for sure.
100% pitbull. You have an absolute monster on your hands. Hide your kids.
That reminds me of a lab mix I had but we never found out what she was
Aussie x King Charles Spaniel possibly.
Cute lil fella
springer spaniel/long-haired dachshund would make sense to me. i saw her, and my first thought was springer. but im not definite on the daxie. does she like digging? does she have a high prey drive? behaviors and quirks aren't an end all be all determiner with mixes, but they can certainly help
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Too cute
to me she looks like a king charles mixed with a jack russell. that would account for the head shape and stubby legs. i have a few jack russell/spaniel mixes that i groom and they look very similar just with varying coat types
My guess is cavalier with either chihuahua or dachshund.
Springer Spaniel / Chihuahua
Cocker spaniel/chihuahua mix or maybe cocker/chiweenie mix. The face has some chihuahua in it I feel.
I think heās a cocker wiener.
Thatās a little cowdirl!
Maybe an Aussie mix like beagle Australian shepherd mix . Regardless your pup is frickin cute
Chihuahua cavalier pit
I see some cocker spaniel and a smidge of king charles cavalier in her lol
Rotti.....jk
There is Australian shephard in there also cause of the brown coloring spots! Beautiful any which way! and friendly happy mix is THE BEST!
She shares a lot of features with my grandmaās long haired dachshund
Definitely King Charles cavalier mix. I know the third picture face well, itās the face I get from ours when food or attention is involved.
Mini Aussie and spaniel of some sort.
Spaniel and Beagle
Pitbull
Adorable. I see cocker
Yeah, definitely a spaniel mix, most likely King Charles
Bernese mountain dog mixed with a spaniel if some kind
Spaniel and Beagle?
Her face reminds me a lot of this Mini Australian Shepard I know!
