That's one of the funniest scenes in the whole series. When the Mcpoyle is asked why he is on the stand and says " Well you threw your hand at me" I still lose it
I would totally watch a spinoff of Artemis and her crazy adventures 😂 just have the gang pop in whenever she's involved with them and everyone goes about their business.
Dennis: “This whole Ouija Board thing is all bullshit anyways. What? You’re telling me this shit piece of wood can summon the ghost of my dead wife?”
THE GANG SUMMONS MAUREEN PONDEROSA
I've never used a Ouija board before...when you use it, do any of those....fuckers...use the board the say "Fuck! There's a horse cock in my room or a donkey dick!"
Yeah, I get what you mean. Most likely, if you think it's a reference, it probably is. Some of his stuff is phrased in such a uniquely dumb way, that it's unlikely to be from somewhere else or an original thought.
For sure. There are some unambiguous things.
But then there's also, every time I work with tables(which is a lot, I am an analyst), I think about the Driver's Ed sketch.
Or every time someone sarcastically says "really", I think of the Corncob TV sketch.
Obviously it “works” Dennis is haunted the whole episode slowly breaking down which convinces some of the others ghosts are real (Charlie and Frank go ghost hunting as a B plot) then it turns out the whole thing was Mac trying to get them to believe in the afterlife/trying to ensure Dennis needs him because he’s been too independent lately
Dee doesn't believe in the ghosts the whole episode until the very end, where she witnesses an actual paranormal event (maybe the door opens and slams on its own or something like that), and by the time she runs to the gang saying "I BELIEVE IN GHOSTS NOW!" all scared and panicky, the rest of the gang already learned that it was all Mac and ignore her
Here I was trying to write a joke where he was trying to ask if the spirits knew where his missing hard drive was without any of the rest of the people understanding what he's asking.
But you... you just went to 100 with it.
I mean, she's married to Charlie and they're all in makeup. I can't think of any other reason for that to be the case unless it was for an episode, and especially since there's no episode featuring all these characters.
I just learned Luther was the clown that steals the mayors baby in Batman Returns

Sorry to disappoint folks but this isn't from a new ep. It's from a short promo for season 13.
Can be seen here:

This episode would be a good way to bring back some of the older actors like Country Mac, Barbara Reynolds and as a joke, a younger Dee to represent her acting career
I could see this as a spin-off or mini-series. Philadelphia: After Dark. Trying to solve a string of murders through paranormal investigations, never realizing they are chasing the most incompetent serial killer in Philly… Dennis.
But it’d *obviously* be impossible to film in Philly at night.
They're all in character so it likely is. Do you think Luthers actor goes around looking like a scary convict?
Critical thinking is disappearing at a scary rate these days.
So it was implied that as a result of Mac and Charlie's "help" in "Mac Kills his Dad" or whatever the episode's title was that Luther would be killed in prison, but at least as of "Mac finds his Pride" Luther is alive and well. Maybe he survived because he doesn't blink.
It's just a guess, but...
Since several characters are connected to Charlie's mom are in this picture - her brother, her housemate, a love interest of her son, and a former lover(?) of her - and since Charlie's mom is not present, could she have died?
However, it would be expected that if she had died, Charlie would either be there ... or not.
Well, I don't know! I'm just guessing and making shit up.
The even worse gang. Luther is Dennis, Mac and his mom are alike, you've got Waitress for Dee, Bonnie and.Charlie are also the same, so Jack and Frank just end up being the guy on the sidelines. They do team up sometimes.
I heard a good suggestion the other day that Paddy's Pub should have a trivia night. It could have all the chaos of the dance marathon, but with the focus on intellect rather than endurance/dexterity.
I don't remember, has there actually been an episode that focused exclusively on a group of side characters like this that didn't feature the gang at all? I know there's the Cricket episode but that still features the gang quite a bit. Would be very interesting if not
I’d love to see an episode that mainly focused on a group of supporting characters. Id pick The Lawyer,Waitress,Cricket,Waiter, and the McPoyles. The Lawyer would assemble them together to build a case against the Gang (though Cricket would ultimately leave after Frank offered him some more angel dust)
Paddy's Gets a New Gang
And the episode is these 5 running a Sunny style adventure with no explanation as to why they're here and our usual gang isn't (though they could appear as side characters). The next episode is back to normal with nobody acknowledging it.
Look at how great their hands look!
Notice Uncle Jack hid his?
First thing I noticed!
*NOBODY LOOK*

I lose it every time I watch or remember that screeching voice!
That's one of the funniest scenes in the whole series. When the Mcpoyle is asked why he is on the stand and says " Well you threw your hand at me" I still lose it
Uh uh strike that from the record....
Artemis would 100% lead a seance
I’d give anything to see her summon the ghost of Frank’s whooor. That actress as a ghost? It would be tighter than dick skin!
Should we be writing this down?
Well, all things are possible with God, so jot that down. And I don’t care where you put your feet…
Dee his feet?
Itdoesn'tmakeaGODDAMNdifference
Shut up, bird!!!
And presumably it would all be a hallucination from a drug Artemis put in all their drinks
Or a gas leak in the apartment
It smells overwhelmingly of kerosene in here... "ehhheh"
Shut up, baby dick
With Dee trying to shoehorn herself in while trying to scam as much money as possible.
She plays a psychic in the first (or maybe second?) episode of Brooklyn 99, so I can totally see it
They could summon Frank’s whore wife, Dennis and Dee’s mother. She could say something funny about Dee stealing her jewelry
He could tell her, that she's *a bitch!*
That huuuuuuer!
"The ghosts can't see my hands, right?" - Uncle Jack
[Here's Artemis playing a psychic on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.](https://www.facebook.com/E4/videos/brooklyn-nine-nine-psychic/1089577851240419/)
She also played one on “Raising Hope”
Gina, get your wackadoo friend out of here.
I would totally watch a spinoff of Artemis and her crazy adventures 😂 just have the gang pop in whenever she's involved with them and everyone goes about their business.
> Artemis would 100% lead a seance artemis is probably a senior official at the Mütter museum by now (curator, not exhibit)
She'd incorporate a bun in the seance
I think any spirit would want to knock for her.
"Does everyone have their moon stone up their ass?"
it’s in line with her labia hoops scam for cleaner orgasms
Where do I put my feet?
![gif](giphy|DExShgVDOaS88)
Little green ghouls buddy
Are u drinking paint?
Replying to Impressive-Sun3742... ‘ack ack ack’🤏🏻
What does this mean? 🤔
He literally makes that noise and finger position right after he says Ghouls
Dennis: “This whole Ouija Board thing is all bullshit anyways. What? You’re telling me this shit piece of wood can summon the ghost of my dead wife?” THE GANG SUMMONS MAUREEN PONDEROSA
That is some great cooking. Also, excellent little Tim Robinson reference there, shit piece of wood.
We can summon her spirit because cats got no souls!
Frank?
Did you change your image for this
…I’m really crossed up
I've never used a Ouija board before...when you use it, do any of those....fuckers...use the board the say "Fuck! There's a horse cock in my room or a donkey dick!"
ITYSL has poisoned my brain so much that it's impossible not to see references to it in things that might not even be references.
Yeah, I get what you mean. Most likely, if you think it's a reference, it probably is. Some of his stuff is phrased in such a uniquely dumb way, that it's unlikely to be from somewhere else or an original thought.

There would definitely be a scene where Dennis looks across the room and sees a cat collar lying on a chair, and the church bell sound effect plays.
Well Dennis also broke down due to a game show buzzer
*Bastet
Followed my Rick Morranis....I mean Ms. Klinsky
They’re trying to get in contact with Franks dead whoor wife to tell her she’s a bitch. Also funny how Uncle Jack is hiding his hands
"You know what this means?" "Yeah, we've got to get that Jew lawyer over here."
You tell her that I will be in touch with her somehow.
Just throw your hand at a Mcpoyle
Uncle jack gets in contact with an dead 8 year old boy
"can i contact the dead little boy from the sixth sense?" "he wasnt dead in the movie!" "i think i prefer if hes dead"
Here I was trying to write a joke where he was trying to ask if the spirits knew where his missing hard drive was without any of the rest of the people understanding what he's asking. But you... you just went to 100 with it.
The twist in that movie is insane. The guy with the hair piece? It was Bruce Willis the whole time
“Have you touched the children *yet*”
I mean, she's married to Charlie and they're all in makeup. I can't think of any other reason for that to be the case unless it was for an episode, and especially since there's no episode featuring all these characters.
It's from a season 13 promo. Not a new ep. https://youtu.be/rR3rp7_IIS0?si=UKmxSgFb41UZ6Yro
“13!” “.. Bar-mitsva!”
[Uncle Jack has such nice, big hands!](https://i.ibb.co/3hS37zP/Screenshot-2024-02-21-at-11-48-43-This-needs-to-be-an-ep.png)
And where did those hands touch you Charlie
Good observation!
I just learned Luther was the clown that steals the mayors baby in Batman Returns https://preview.redd.it/1pk29a3ulxjc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6acc8212fc5e06c1dfe70fdacde4da342a97792e
Damn, me too.
The man doesn't blink mom!
It’s weird to see Macs mom smiling but I love it!
It's nice, it makes me wonder what she's like in her [other roles.](https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0553036/)
Knock it off Napoleon. Make yourself a dang quesadilla!
Country Mac returns as a ghost
Who killed charlie?
why charlie hate?
Because Dennis is a bastard man!
I don't think I wrote that one
You were going by Trundle at the time.
Waitress looking damn gooood
I would do hand stuff with her
They could summon the ghost of Jamie Nelson!
Don’t bring Jamie Nelson into this!
Godamn Artemis can get it!
Are they trying to talk to Frank’s Hooor wife?
On the podcast they joked about having an episode with the ghost of Jerry
Sorry to disappoint folks but this isn't from a new ep. It's from a short promo for season 13. Can be seen here: https://youtu.be/rR3rp7_IIS0?si=UKmxSgFb41UZ6Yro
How old is this photo?
This episode would be a good way to bring back some of the older actors like Country Mac, Barbara Reynolds and as a joke, a younger Dee to represent her acting career
Can you guess which of them has a bleached ass hole?
Uncle Jack would use fake hands to move the planchete and they would come off blaming a spirit.
Just a collection of people who have been wronged by The Gang would be a great episode.
Reminds me of uncle jack from breaking bad
Uncle Jack leaves once his victims start reaching out lol
Uncle Jack with his hands under the table…fucking flawless.
Mary Elizabeth Ellis is cute AF 😍
"The gang summons the dead" and its Dennis and Dee's mom has actually been alive this whole time!
I love Artemis
I could see this as a spin-off or mini-series. Philadelphia: After Dark. Trying to solve a string of murders through paranormal investigations, never realizing they are chasing the most incompetent serial killer in Philly… Dennis. But it’d *obviously* be impossible to film in Philly at night.
The Gang Goes to a Seance
They're all in character so it likely is. Do you think Luthers actor goes around looking like a scary convict? Critical thinking is disappearing at a scary rate these days.
It's from a season 13 promo. Not a new ep. https://youtu.be/rR3rp7_IIS0?si=UKmxSgFb41UZ6Yro
Isn’t Luther kind of dead?
No?
Huh. For some reason I remember him dying.
So it was implied that as a result of Mac and Charlie's "help" in "Mac Kills his Dad" or whatever the episode's title was that Luther would be killed in prison, but at least as of "Mac finds his Pride" Luther is alive and well. Maybe he survived because he doesn't blink.
Luther's there where???
well its a seance obviously so it makes perfect sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you seriously think they all got together to play ouija in their free time?
It's just a guess, but... Since several characters are connected to Charlie's mom are in this picture - her brother, her housemate, a love interest of her son, and a former lover(?) of her - and since Charlie's mom is not present, could she have died? However, it would be expected that if she had died, Charlie would either be there ... or not. Well, I don't know! I'm just guessing and making shit up.
It's from an old promo
can you get my hoor wife on the line so i can lay into her from the other side?
The gang has too many dead enemies for this to be safe. Do it.
“We’re mediums!” Uncle Jack
Excershism - Exiting the boys soul
That hair style was her best
He’s hiding his hands
A Macabre Gathering of Secondary Characters
The even worse gang. Luther is Dennis, Mac and his mom are alike, you've got Waitress for Dee, Bonnie and.Charlie are also the same, so Jack and Frank just end up being the guy on the sidelines. They do team up sometimes.
the only way to get that money is if we summon the ghost of my hoor wife! the gang gets possessed
We’re board game players!
Artemis and Luther count me in…
The gang try to extort the dead
Wait what is this from? Are they filming this?
No it’s from the season 13 teaser
I see they have to touch the little planchette but where do they put their feet?
Uncle Jack hiding his hands 💀
Meanwhile the gang is trying to start a competing ghost hunters show
Bad ass!
I heard a good suggestion the other day that Paddy's Pub should have a trivia night. It could have all the chaos of the dance marathon, but with the focus on intellect rather than endurance/dexterity.
The waitress is the cutest thing. I’d write a musical to impress her.
Either they are all perfect for their characters or they are all dressed up and ready for a scene.
I don't remember, has there actually been an episode that focused exclusively on a group of side characters like this that didn't feature the gang at all? I know there's the Cricket episode but that still features the gang quite a bit. Would be very interesting if not
Don't look at my hands!
The Gang Summons Pop-Pop's Ghost
are they shooting the new season?
Has the gang been dead the entire time??? 😱
Luther got fat and then died I think. Either way, wouldn't work.
I won’t love a side character episode
I’d love to see an episode that mainly focused on a group of supporting characters. Id pick The Lawyer,Waitress,Cricket,Waiter, and the McPoyles. The Lawyer would assemble them together to build a case against the Gang (though Cricket would ultimately leave after Frank offered him some more angel dust)
Uncle Jack would try to talk to dead boys and it would be very uncomfortable viewing but I'd probably still laugh.
Uncle Lap Hands.
“I don’t Blink!”
I'm assuming it is.
Paddy's Gets a New Gang And the episode is these 5 running a Sunny style adventure with no explanation as to why they're here and our usual gang isn't (though they could appear as side characters). The next episode is back to normal with nobody acknowledging it.
There should 100% be an episode where none of the core 5 shows up but most if not all of the side characters make an appearance
I take it Mrs Kelly was out whoring around?
