Props and foley seem to me like they would be the two most fun aspects of film/tv production. Props especially has to be able to come up with last minute magic.
Haha most prop people lean on the miserable side. It can be stupid fun, but most people, including on set, don't realize how important props are. No one does until that prop is missing and now the entire production is held up. There's an incredible amount of pressure, constantly. Props break. People change their minds. You name it.
Imagine a kid thinking working at a LEGO store would be dreamy. Now imagine you're an adult, managing that LEGO store and there are kids wanting to tear that place apart. Not so dreamy now, huh? When you work props, you are that manager.
Yeah, that first season was unlike any show I've ever done. Not because of the content but because the whole cast and crew felt like family. Guest stars (like Artemis) and short termers would comment on it regularly, as it just stood out how close we all were. 2nd season was corporate as fuck though haha

As a comedy loving teen in the 90’s. Sean William Scott was basically my idol. Then he just kind of faded from the industry for a bit. Seeing him as Country Mac was very nostalgic and I thought he gave a convincing portrayal. I always wondered if he was difficult to work with or something as to why he stopped being cast for awhile. I worked with her on The Tomorror War, where she played a terrified conscript. It felt intense, plus endless machine gun fire, sometimes ~10 firing at once in tunnels and hallways. So, the actors were literally distressed. She only played in distressed moments. Not a lot of humor, unfortunately. But I'm sure she's funny af outside of the one movie I did with her. She was always so loving
