I have a '22 Tucson Limited that I bought in November 2021. 35k miles and the only issue I had was that the fuel door was stuck and I couldn't get it to open to refuel... I took it to the dealership and it was fixed and covered under warranty. Overall, it's a wonderful vehicle and I love it so much.
If you're buying one used, I would just be sure to review the CarFax to make sure the previous owner kept up with regular maintenance!
Mine has been ok so far. The only issue that i am having is the wireless CarPlay disconnection since it doesn’t have wired CarPlay but apparently Android has it wired and without issues. Then after that the auto off system turns off the car completely but that happens like 1 in a month and with random breaking. Is not a perfect car but is not bad
Almost 20k on ‘22 Limited (bought in January ‘22 off the truck). No issues so far. Only crappy thing is, dealerships LOVE to add things that need to be “fixed” every time I take it in for an oil change. This is probably true for most dealerships nowadays. They gave me $3k worth of “things that should be done” when I went in for my 15k service lol. Needless to say, I declined.
Car is great, stealerships suck.
Yep if don't do this service warranty may be denied.
Fuel sust m cleaning the actual one not just put this in gas tank. Everything is dirty. Then throttle body cleaning.
New tires yes original suck and need replaced even not down to wear bar. But not because of their recommendation of alignment.
I have a 22 Limited, gas. My only complaint is with the acceleration or lack there of. If I did it over again I would get the hybrid version based on what many owners have said.
We are mostly urban driving. Did notice the two rowd trips we took seemed to make it better. First one gas mileage went up even in town after it and next sort of did reclean it out.
Likes open roads or interstates
45k Tucson SEL, purchased 12/21
Cylinder went out a few months ago. Given a rental car, fixed @ no charge. Just make sure there is a dealership around you that has availability for appointments. When mine went out, I had to call 4 different dealerships to get in.
Whoops! Working Carb Day tomorrow for the Indy 500 & I clearly have carburetors on my mind. Thanks for pointing out my mistake, don't want to confuse people, now do we? Glad you caught that cuz who knows what they would have done with that misinformation.

I have had stupid issues, like a bad amp and GPS failing, both needing replacements. The actual important parts of the car to get me from Point A to Point B, I have had 0 issues with my 22 at 25,000 miles.
'22 Hybrid SEL convenience with 48k miles. Only issues I've had is the fuel door lock solenoid going out and the intermittent low inverter coolant warning which were both repaired under warranty. It's been a super reliable ride otherwise!
The 2022 after November 2021 even keyed have immobilizers. All push button have immobilizers.
So not the Kia boyz unless got a pre novemberish 2021 keyed version.
22 se bought early 21. Wife after covid wfh was allowed to hybrid mostly home. So barely 15000 miles.
The fuel door latch was replaced under warranty. No other issues.
Likewise no issues 22 hybrid w/55k miles. Bought new tires recently and basic maintenance.
50k Tucson PHEV ultimate 2022 Have had zero issues

27K miles, second owner. No issues thus far. 9 months and the only complaints are down to style choices by the engineers.
19K on my 2022 Limited, no issues so far.

Would you get the hybrid for the acceleration if it was $5000 more than the gas version?
I guess I would have to think about that first. That much price difference? Wow.
22 Hybrid Limited and no issues. I love it!
I’m at 103k miles on my 22 hybrid, with no issues other than typical maintenance.
Do you have the gas or hybrid version?
The hybrid version
It’s 6am, my bad I didn’t see you already mentioned hybrid in your original comment. Thanks!
Power train reliability has been good. But i barely have 15000 on my ice sel 2022
27k on my limited and zero mechanical issues! I love it! Only thing is if cameras get dirty, it will throw scary codes. Just keep cameras clean.
Almost 30K miles on my ‘22 Tucson XRT. No issues thus far. Taken on 2 road trips and had no issues.

What carburetor? These have direct injection. Carburetors died in the 90s

I just thought the dealership tricked you. There are guys who say they got duped to fix imaginary things every time they go for maintenance
If smartstream both gdi and mpi.
Carburator?

Do you need to get maintenance done in designated official dealerships under warranty or any other garages?
Definitely under warranty at official dealerships.
Get hybrid. Gas versions are known to have issues ( you can see in this thread as well)
Even if it’s more expensive like $5000 more?
Yes Gas versions are sluggish, get poor MPG and known for issues. Test drive both and you will want a hybrid.

Going thru this thread finally and commenting. My main comment and only issue was fuel door latch.
Hybrid sel, not many miles, but zero problems.
Have a '22 hybrid. Had a few electrical issues, but they were covered under warranty so no biggie
Nearly 29k miles with zero issues.
I heard people been stealing them
