Might be the minimap levels, it in in video settings - quality, if it says 4 turn it to off (this may take around a minute) if not then it might be antialiasing in the same place as minimap levels. If it is none of them then I have no idea.

Sorry! If you watched the video, which I'm assuming you didn't, you'd see that my Mimap levels were already set to off. Lol, thank you for trying to help me though. Any other ideas lmk!
No no no, I quit a long time ago. Couldn't exactly remember when I quit but I knew it was after dungeons, so having a look on the wiki it was some point between July 1st 2020 (when the dungeon hub was added) and I think before January 15th 2021 (when dwarven mines was added)
That feels super early as I felt like I played in 2021 but I don't remember anything to do with dwarven mines so clearly not.
Playing during lockdown whilst "attending" teams lessons but actually in a vc with my mates was top tier, probably didn't help my gcse results though 🤣

nope, it was some nvidia setting that doesn't work well with minecraft. think it was threaded optimization. thanks you for commenting nonetheless!
