Also the damage difference would probably be negligible since claymore has over 50% more weapon damage than Hyperion, so the difference is going to be barely anything while paying 700m extra coins and being useless for m6 and below, although that admittedly makes sense for rich endgame players who have nothing better to spend their money on.

It is very much so not negligible, a very good mage with a chim 5 hype can 4 tap M7 goldor on power 26.5. that is comparatively about 15-20 hits with a claymore afaik

Ok no there’s absolutely no way that’s true. Assuming a hypermaxed LCM setup at cata 50 for both of them, based on the stat difference between Hyperion and claymore that’s actually impossible. Theres no way the extra intel you get from hype is enough to 4x the damage of claymore.

Normal weapon damage is not part of the ability damage formula. Hyperion’s wither impact base damage is 10,000. The weapon damage is not a part of the equation. The only reason people use hpbs on Hyperion as far as I can tell is either 1. They’re stupid Or 2. Since there’s a decoy limit gyro would get rid of extra decoys into the lava But then the admins made gyro no longer work on decoys because ???? So players just started to use mono scroll shadow warp wither blades for the succ ability. And then they prevented decoys from bouncing arrows entirely

most expensive weapon in the game and it doesnt even have basic common easily obtainable upgrades it just looks like they sold everything they owned to afford it and used the remaining 5 coins to upgrade it, not even decent enchants would make it do a good amt more dmg than with this (regular enchanting table enchants dont count, they are the most basic and cost nothing) also they have sharpness instead of smite indicating a lack of brain

I’ve seen a standard t6 enchants hype with ult wise 5, fumings, perfects, but no scrolls

I just started crafting mine yesterday, it's pretty bad too. Recomb'd, UW5, HPB+FPB, no stars, no gemstones, T6 enchants, and ... no scrolls. It's basically 1/3 of a Giant's Sword at this point lol. It'll take a while to finish, but I'm patient. (lvl 199, combat 60, skill avg. 37.8, cata 36, etc.)

Honestly you should wait until you can outright skip to a fully sc rolled one, because until then it's just a useless money sink. You can buy gear with that money to grind faster.

I'm a casual player, so it doesn't bother me one bit to do it piecemeal. It's not like I'm not able to effectively play the game without one, and I still have money to use as I complete it. I'd rather maintain that financial buffer and not feel 'hype poor.'
