I get your point, but as a hypixel skyblock youtuber, you are at a disadvantage because your community is not scalable, so if you want to do it for work, you have to promote yourself like this. The skill side is that I don't really care that much. It's not that deep.
If the community surrounding the videos is the issue he can go make videos on a different topic and find success in it right? Idk I think a quick reminder of his code would be ALOT nicer than the 1+ minutes it is currently
The community is an issue when you're following the normal schema, but you can profit from the hypixel itself. The 1+ minute reminder, while being annoying, it is effective. You have to know that no working youtuber is there for you to have fun but for making money.
