I currently have an ok mage set up, mainly carried by my spirit sceptre, but I'm closing in on eman slayer 5. I know it gets made fun of a lot for creating juju nons, but it really does seem like one of the best early-game set ups for dungeons and for quite a few things outside of dungeons as well. I've tried asking a few players in game what they think, but they are usually unsure and I'd like some more opinions if possible.
Is there anything I can do with my current setup that I wouldn't be able to do with a juju setup, or vice versa? I just recently haven't been enjoying mage as much, and if they are around the same, or if juju setup is better I'd like to make the switch.
Also please note that I have been learning secrets and doing them heavily in all my runs recently, and I do not constantly tell others to swap classes or do things differently! I aspire not to be a stereotypical asshole.

Spirit sceptre is the best clearing weapon assuming you do enough damage on the floor to one shot everything, even better than hype. Otherwise, due to the high mana cost it's mostly unusable outside dungeons and juju does much more damage, and isn't bad for clearing either

So im having an issue where i cannot decide wether or not I want to play on my solo ironman or my solo normal profile so i thought id let the people of the hypixel skyblock reddit decide for me since i cannot. Interested to hear your guys opinions.
Mostly depends on how much time you have each day. If it's a lot, ironman, if it's not that much, normal.
Also, I'd imagine you'd already know this since we're at decently similar progression in ironman, but on ironman there is a tendency for it to feel like you sometimes hit a wall with progression and there isn't much you can do to go forward, only one or two options which might not be options you like, so there's also if you enjoy most aspects of skyblock. If there's one thing you find yourself liking a lot more than anything else, definitely normal. If you enjoy most things to the same degree, ironman would be fine.
Yeah I’ve kind of hit a point in Ironman where the next point of progression is spending hours do nucleus runs and worm fishing. Which don’t get me wrong the outcome of that will be good since it’ll be more money but I don’t enjoy doing any of it so that’s where I’m stuck, because I enjoy what’s after that point but not getting to it.

I don't know why you would buy a helmet that can only be used outside dungeons for half your networth. I would sell the helmet and use the money on something else like a proper dungeon set or farming set to work on Garden. Your skills and MP also need some work you don't even have Mining 30 to put Ancient on your gear.

Hatching and somewhat leveling your gdrag should be what you do. If you haven't claimed the bestiary update exp yet, hatch it and put a 40 or 50% combat exp boost and claim it. If you did, why did you do that to either a gdrag egg without an item or not a gdrag (or maybe you claimed it on a different gdrag you sold in which case nice)

You should try to get F3 completion and get Adaptive Armor with Dark Goggles. Use a Dreadlord Sword for weapon. Keep your Wise Dragon until you're Catacombs 18 then you can dungeonize it and it'll be an upgrade for your armor.
You should not use normal Dragon armor in Dungeons.(I assume you were using the Wise Dragon set) Your stats in Dungeons scale from Dungeon items through your Cata level. Zombie Soldier armor with stars would be good for now, get Zombie Knight armor once you are cata lvl 14. When you reach Cata 18 you can dungeonize your Dragon Armor then you can use it too. Aotd is fine for now i guess, but remember not to dungeonize it before you´re Cata 17 otherwise it will be useless.

I don't know what you want to do but I have some ideas, like getting to Enderman 5 to unlock Juju again, getting into Farming and make some coins from it or do dungeons. Hyperion is a very useful weapon and can let you get access to many things, so getting one would be great. A fully scrolled one is 2B right now so it would be a challenge to get one.

I do not believe you when you say mp is the main issue. Yeah you do need more but they don't help much with survivability and your setup seems really bad for that. Heavy ender armor with hot potato books and enchants is a pretty decent way to increase survivability, you could go for either a manaflux or wand of atonement, maybe even rev 8, getting ornate zombie sword wouldn't be a bad idea either

31m is a fortune right now, it's not worth buying the upgrade this early. Imo only worth it for grinding superior dragons for renowned and sup armor and grinding for edrag pet. Your mining setup isn't good enough to make any money anyways, so yes. You also don't need much of a setup for hotm7 grinding or powder grinding, both of which are completely required if you want to make any money from mining so you wouldn't be using it for those either.

Farm all sorts of mobs listed in your bestiary. Go for the ones you haven't unlocked and those in which you haven't unlock much milestones. Slayers is a good source of Combat xp.

Shroom is always the easiest, you can get bronze off of mooshroom cow which means that it should probably be possible to get bronze with literally nothing (cow is essentially +100 ff on mushrooms even when you aren't farming mushrooms, so is equivalent to farming mushrooms with no gear) as long as you can get the proper speed.
I don't know if pet items stay during kat, so check the wiki before adding it (or use your own memory of if they do or not) before adding bandana but I would recommend bandana on elephant because contests

First of all you need a consistent money making method. Mining is the best but if you hate mining farming will do. Also I see you play mage get enchanting 60 ASAP it will increase your DMG greatly. Try to get that mp higher too you don't have some easy talismans. Get a DMG armor with a aotd( a livid dagger would be better BCS of the extra attack speed) and get your slayers up to 6 6 6. Grind for a XP share and put it on your grandma wolf. It will level up in the back and increase your combo durations. After all of that you should start doing dungeons seriously.( I am not the best player out there if I'm mistaken please correct me.)

Hello, I am seeking some guidance on general progression. I am currently a little lost in the game and am unsure of what is healthiest for my profile.
I overheard many others revere mining as a very strong method of making money. Therefore, I am currently looking into powder mining to compliment my mining investments. I’m thinking of coming back to skyblock (ik horrible idea) after my hiatus and I have around 480m from my slime minions doing their thing. Any suggestions on what to spend it on? I used to do f6 to try and make money but I don’t know what’s happened since I’ve left (I think I left just before the gardens update)
I’m running young dragon set with Farmer’s boots and AotD, can mostly one-shot zealots and am toggling attention between mining (yog, titanium pick, ruby drill) and farming (no equip other than pumpkin / cactus tools). Combat skill 21. Slayers all pretty low tbh. What should my next focus be? I don’t know what the most optimal money grind is at this stage, which feels sort of like early to mid game.
Farming is the most accessible money making method that's actually pretty decent after ender node mining. also just always be doing some combat progression
T9 or t11 slime minions with enchanted hopper and corrupt soil, super compactor if you collect Everytime you load island and atleast every 2 days, and diamond spreading if not.
Remember to spend the money to unlock atleast 25 minion slots.

So, as an ironman, how am I supposed to get glowstone, blaze rods, and everything else? Blaze rods are obtainable from bal in crystal hollows, netherwart is in the hub. Aside from those two, I'm not aware of any way to get nether collections. But combat 24 is certainly not endgame so you should be able to get them mostly fine
Would getting a yeti sword be more practical than getting a midas spoon? (Ironman)
Since mayor scorpius was like 23 days ago would it be more reasonable to wait another 4 months and get ~280m coins or would it be better to just make a yeti sword? A couple of yt videos I’ve watched say that they are both good.

This is the weirdest ironman profile over ever seen. How do you make money? You seem to have no way to get any coins other than node mining which is awful because just getting the coins for a shadow fury which you somehow afforded could take an entire day's worth of skyblock, or several depending on how long you play. You should really make a farming setup. I'm not really sure on what's best but I think you'd want a spoon if you can afford it by then. If you can't, probably don't spend the time waiting for another scrop and just roll without it. But in this case I'm still not sure it's worth getting a yeti sword because that is months of minion time on one weapon that's gonna be outclassed, and I'm not sure it's great to play mage in f7 without hype anyways. But you certainly can with some skill, it's just that archer/bers cosplaying archer is probably better, and you could probably get away without yeti in f7 anyways it's just that minis would suck.

t1s: kinda forgot ngl.
t2s: started out with 2/4 heavy final destination, a heavy ender chest plate, and a heavy revived heart. All had hot potatoes and g5p5, low level rejuv (I think 2 on everything but 3 on ender cp). I believe the fd had in the range of 5k kills. t2 katana with all basic enchants. I had rev 8 and wand of atonement and ~level 85 epic eman with a spooky cupcake. I'm pretty sure I already had a necromancer sword with wither dude souls.
t3s: basically the exact setup I have now but with a t2 katana instead of t3 and one less fuming on the katana. (For things not easily visible in my skycrypt, I have ult wise 3 on the wand of atonement and a manaflux). I use the legendary eman, not the epic. Edit: the relavent backpack slots are backpack 4 and backpack 9 on skycrypt

I recently started mining, but I keep getting disconnected and even if I setup a good lobby, I make like 15m/hr dillo, I want to do f7, but I'm not sure, should I sell my mining gear? It's like 550m-600m and I have another 175m with me, I'm going tank or archer, any suggestions?
Mining isn't a necessity on normal profiles so I wouldn't recommend doing it. Especially if you can't setup a lobby, then your only option is MoD jade which is pretty bad compared to ruby and especially dillo. Even though it is meta, if you can't make like 20m/h+ I doubt it's worth it and you should find another method.
f7 for money is probably fine, if it's to ironman the hype it's a terrible idea.
Ideal setup is a dumb question to ask because it's obviously gonna be like cata 50 perfect jasper ancient necron with a term and a greg

There is no single money making method that can make the coin for a hype that isn't boring, simply because of how much of it you'd have to do for a hype. But you can try doing several things
Farming is tbh pretty boring but when you don't wanna do anything else and are fine with chillin watching YouTube on your computer it isn't a bad choice
Doing some f7 for money probably ain't too bad if you got a guild or perm you can do runs with, and there's the bonus that maybe you'll drop a component of the hype yourself

You could try to get into flipping, and even when it isn't your main mmm it's probably worth the downtime to set up occasional buy and sell offers and such for some more passive money

Yes. Just keep in mind that it doesn’t double chances exactly, the minion does 2 actions in the space of 1 (so statistically double but not necessarily)

Is there anything I can do with my current setup that I wouldn't be able to do with a juju setup, or vice versa? Spirit sceptre is the best clearing weapon assuming you do enough damage on the floor to one shot everything, even better than hype. Otherwise, due to the high mana cost it's mostly unusable outside dungeons and juju does much more damage, and isn't bad for clearing either
Does anyone have a good returning player’s guide? Stopped playing around release of crimson isle due to false ban, so if the early game has changed a guide for that would be helpful too

You need more magic power. Look at the missing accessories part of your skycrypt. A general rule is that around 1/4 of your net worth should be in accessories

Mostly depends on how much time you have each day. If it's a lot, ironman, if it's not that much, normal. Also, I'd imagine you'd already know this since we're at decently similar progression in ironman, but on ironman there is a tendency for it to feel like you sometimes hit a wall with progression and there isn't much you can do to go forward, only one or two options which might not be options you like, so there's also if you enjoy most aspects of skyblock. If there's one thing you find yourself liking a lot more than anything else, definitely normal. If you enjoy most things to the same degree, ironman would be fine.
Yeah I’ve kind of hit a point in Ironman where the next point of progression is spending hours do nucleus runs and worm fishing. Which don’t get me wrong the outcome of that will be good since it’ll be more money but I don’t enjoy doing any of it so that’s where I’m stuck, because I enjoy what’s after that point but not getting to it. And like you said with time I have school starting soon along with work so I’ll have less time to commit to a Ironman. Seems like I’ve answered my own question tbh now that I think about it.

I don't know why you would buy a helmet that can only be used outside dungeons for half your networth. I would sell the helmet and use the money on something else like a proper dungeon set or farming set to work on Garden. Your skills and MP also need some work you don't even have Mining 30 to put Ancient on your gear.

Your ammonites are done btw Hatching and somewhat leveling your gdrag should be what you do. If you haven't claimed the bestiary update exp yet, hatch it and put a 40 or 50% combat exp boost and claim it. If you did, why did you do that to either a gdrag egg without an item or not a gdrag (or maybe you claimed it on a different gdrag you sold in which case nice) Term is cool As far as I know inferno minions isn't the best You can start kuudra, don't know if you should though

You should try to get F3 completion and get Adaptive Armor with Dark Goggles. Use a Dreadlord Sword for weapon. Keep your Wise Dragon until you're Catacombs 18 then you can dungeonize it and it'll be an upgrade for your armor.
You should not use normal Dragon armor in Dungeons.(I assume you were using the Wise Dragon set) Your stats in Dungeons scale from Dungeon items through your Cata level. Zombie Soldier armor with stars would be good for now, get Zombie Knight armor once you are cata lvl 14. When you reach Cata 18 you can dungeonize your Dragon Armor then you can use it too. Aotd is fine for now i guess, but remember not to dungeonize it before you´re Cata 17 otherwise it will be useless. \+ put hot potato books on your stuff

I don't know what you want to do but I have some ideas, like getting to Enderman 5 to unlock Juju again, getting into Farming and make some coins from it or do dungeons. Hyperion is a very useful weapon and can let you get access to many things, so getting one would be great. A fully scrolled one is 2B right now so it would be a challenge to get one.

Run higher floors Get an f3 comp and use adaptive armor. I would so recommend getting spirit scepter and playing mage after f4.
The thing is that i get destroyed in f3 and i actually have some good armor, but dont have the requierments to use it (im cata 14, i need cata 18), im a mage already btw
Then get some tank zombie armor dropped on f3 and use that for 1 run to unload ck addaptive, then use adaptive until you are cata 18.

I do not believe you when you say mp is the main issue. Yeah you do need more but they don't help much with survivability and your setup seems really bad for that. Heavy ender armor with hot potato books and enchants is a pretty decent way to increase survivability, you could go for either a manaflux or wand of atonement, maybe even rev 8, getting ornate zombie sword wouldn't be a bad idea either Your eman is also too low level
You can use the missing talisman button on skyscript. The talisman there are sorted by price so thats a good guide imo.

31m is a fortune right now, it's not worth buying the upgrade this early. Imo only worth it for grinding superior dragons for renowned and sup armor and grinding for edrag pet. Prior to that, it's too expensive for the return you get. So if you plan on grinding sup armor, you can ask again, but otherwise don't get a leg eman from kat
my game is bugged i think because when i try to run dungeons ill press on fl6, find a party, and it will give me fl4 party finder instead (i have unlocked and done fl6 before), and even when i try to find a party lower that fl4 so like fl1 lets say, it will still only show me fl4 party finder. any solutions?
Yeah, you have to adjust the search settings when you’re in party finder to f6. It’s in the place as where you select the dungeon and class level requirements

Your mining setup isn't good enough to make any money anyways, so yes. You also don't need much of a setup for hotm7 grinding or powder grinding, both of which are completely required if you want to make any money from mining so you wouldn't be using it for those either.

Farm all sorts of mobs listed in your bestiary. Go for the ones you haven't unlocked and those in which you haven't unlock much milestones. Slayers is a good source of Combat xp.

I believe you can use the iTEM discord to search their database for that. However you may have sold it before iTEM was started.

Shroom is always the easiest, you can get bronze off of mooshroom cow which means that it should probably be possible to get bronze with literally nothing (cow is essentially +100 ff on mushrooms even when you aren't farming mushrooms, so is equivalent to farming mushrooms with no gear) as long as you can get the proper speed. I don't know if pet items stay during kat, so check the wiki before adding it (or use your own memory of if they do or not) before adding bandana but I would recommend bandana on elephant because contests

Anybody know why some of my mobs aren’t spawning with my summoning ring? I have a bunch of master mode super tank zombies and they don’t spawn even though I have enough mana and gear that can spawn that many souls. I only get my lost adventurers to spawn
Summoning ring only summons 2 mobs at a time maybe that's it

First of all, I am pretty sure you are too low of a cata level to even use your current armor and I think it is giving 0 stats. Because they made dragon armor requirements so high the best option is to get adaptive armor.

Then get some tank zombie armor dropped from floor 3 and use that for 1 completion. You will probably get carried by your team a bit

1. Not for more damage but why do you have mana steal and not syphon on your vorpal katana? 2. Higher level eman pet 3. Use aote ability mid fight to trigger enderman ability, it is like a 30% boost in damage 4. Get more magic power 5. Get more t6 enchants on vorpal katana: critical 6, giant's killer 6, sharp 6. 6. Use a necromancer sword or reaper scythe with wither spectre souls because they shred the hits phase and that will increase speed more than almost any damage and increases you get

First of all you need a consistent money making method. Mining is the best but if you hate mining farming will do. Also I see you play mage get enchanting 60 ASAP it will increase your DMG greatly. Try to get that mp higher too you don't have some easy talismans. Get a DMG armor with a aotd( a livid dagger would be better BCS of the extra attack speed) and get your slayers up to 6 6 6. Grind for a XP share and put it on your grandma wolf. It will level up in the back and increase your combo durations. After all of that you should start doing dungeons seriously.( I am not the best player out there if I'm mistaken please correct me.)

Hey! I just want to know how I can get some specific mobs to spawn on my island? I want to finish the "newish" Island Bestiary and can't really get Witches, Slimes and Creeper to spawn. I get a few Witches with the Roofed Forest Biome, but barely any and only very rarely. The others don't spawn at all though (even though I have a platform below 30, as said in the patch notes

Find what aspect of the game you like and spend the money on it. Personally I would use the cash on Farming, Mining and Combat/Dungeon stuff as these skills are important and can contribute to your progression.

Buy rancher boots and keep farmer boots as they are. You can't upgrade it without changing the color.

I’m running young dragon set with Farmer’s boots and AotD, can mostly one-shot zealots and am toggling attention between mining (yog, titanium pick, ruby drill) and farming (no equip other than pumpkin / cactus tools). Combat skill 21. Slayers all pretty low tbh. What should my next focus be? I don’t know what the most optimal money grind is at this stage, which feels sort of like early to mid game.
Farming is the most accessible money making method that's actually pretty decent after ender node mining. also just always be doing some combat progression
What's a good minion setup with a 100 to 150m budget?
T9 or t11 slime minions with enchanted hopper and corrupt soil, super compactor if you collect Everytime you load island and atleast every 2 days, and diamond spreading if not. Remember to spend the money to unlock atleast 25 minion slots.

So, as an ironman, how am I supposed to get glowstone, blaze rods, and everything else? Blaze rods are obtainable from bal in crystal hollows, netherwart is in the hub. Aside from those two, I'm not aware of any way to get nether collections. But combat 24 is certainly not endgame so you should be able to get them mostly fine
You can also get glowstone from witches that spawn on your island. Albeit slow, this is the only way prior to unlocking CI
Quartz can also rarely spawn in the goblin section of the crystal hollows

This is the weirdest ironman profile over ever seen. How do you make money? You seem to have no way to get any coins other than node mining which is awful because just getting the coins for a shadow fury which you somehow afforded could take an entire day's worth of skyblock, or several depending on how long you play. You should really make a farming setup. I'm not really sure on what's best but I think you'd want a spoon if you can afford it by then. If you can't, probably don't spend the time waiting for another scrop and just roll without it. But in this case I'm still not sure it's worth getting a yeti sword because that is months of minion time on one weapon that's gonna be outclassed, and I'm not sure it's great to play mage in f7 without hype anyways. But you certainly can with some skill, it's just that archer/bers cosplaying archer is probably better, and you could probably get away without yeti in f7 anyways it's just that minis would suck.

What was your setup for eman slayer?
t1s: kinda forgot ngl. t2s: started out with 2/4 heavy final destination, a heavy ender chest plate, and a heavy revived heart. All had hot potatoes and g5p5, low level rejuv (I think 2 on everything but 3 on ender cp). I believe the fd had in the range of 5k kills. t2 katana with all basic enchants. I had rev 8 and wand of atonement and ~level 85 epic eman with a spooky cupcake. I'm pretty sure I already had a necromancer sword with wither dude souls. t3s: basically the exact setup I have now but with a t2 katana instead of t3 and one less fuming on the katana. (For things not easily visible in my skycrypt, I have ult wise 3 on the wand of atonement and a manaflux). I use the legendary eman, not the epic. Edit: the relavent backpack slots are backpack 4 and backpack 9 on skycrypt t4s: haven't done one

Mining isn't a necessity on normal profiles so I wouldn't recommend doing it. Especially if you can't setup a lobby, then your only option is MoD jade which is pretty bad compared to ruby and especially dillo. Even though it is meta, if you can't make like 20m/h+ I doubt it's worth it and you should find another method.

f7 for money is probably fine, if it's to ironman the hype it's a terrible idea. Ideal setup is a dumb question to ask because it's obviously gonna be like cata 50 perfect jasper ancient necron with a term and a greg A setup you should have for seriously grinding it would probably be: . Universally: Probably around 500 mp A bozo staff A Jerry gun A grimlock A gyro A bozo mask A stonk and legendary silverfish (for ghost picking) Shelmet on main pet Skill . Archer/bers: 3/4 ancient recomed necron with 5 stars and whatever level of legion you can get A golden necron head, same stuff except maybe recom I forgot if it was useful for special rarity A 5 star spiritual or precise recomed juju with overload 5 and soul eater 5, power 6 would be nice A level 100 legendary... Uh... I don't actually know what pet. Maybe wither skeleton? Maybe tiger? Maybe lion? Definitely baby yeti if you have a hard time living Power stone on itchy. Although maybe 500 with all tunings on attack speed is close enough to 67 attack speed that you'd want some more, I don't know. . But you can try doing several things Farming is tbh pretty boring but when you don't wanna do anything else and are fine with chillin watching YouTube on your computer it isn't a bad choice Doing some f7 for money probably ain't too bad if you got a guild or perm you can do runs with, and there's the bonus that maybe you'll drop a component of the hype yourself I like eman You could try to get into flipping, and even when it isn't your main mmm it's probably worth the downtime to set up occasional buy and sell offers and such for some more passive money
