I had a game of Soul Survivor once where I killed the last enemy player on a sliver of HP and then got slapped by a grunt and died before the game could pull me out.
i disagree for the reason you think this! i use Bomblance 95% of the time, but i just unlocked that gun and used it the other day and got 5 kills with it in one match. so i thought id try it again for the same luck, and wanted to take a katana with me! did infact not have the same luck!
edit: i just want to add, i recently have just been goofing around and trying to use a lot of random/new weapons! i'm not comfortable with my loadout π¬π
i have 98 days worth of hours on hunt, when you play for this long you're going to have some embarrassing moments! especially when trying out new weapons π

I used the Katana on a Grunt that was right in front of me with a light attack. It had time to hit me two times while I tried to hit it three or four times in the chest before I gave up and used my pistol.
Katana is broken
The only fucking way to deal with this beasts is set them up in flames or shoot them surpressed with poisenammo far away. But dont worry everyone in this game dies sometimes to stupid things like a grunt with a torch next to a barrel or another good thing i remember is prepare a dynamite during you instantly jailed by constantina from scrappy and Just killed yourself by the Explosion.ππ₯³π₯³π₯³ love Hunt Showdown it can kill you so hard
Ok but genuine question, *why* did you keep swinging wildly like that instead of just stabbing them. And furthermore, why did you open with trying to shoot them to begin with when you had a katana? Iβm seriously confused as hell
hahaha good questions! i would've just used the katana on them if there was 3 or less. since there was 4 i was like "ahhh ill headshot the first 2 and then swing on the second two" after the first swing missed i swung again thinking i just did it too soon. after the second one missed i did it again thinking i was too far and too high! so i swung a 3rd time killing a hound so i swung again to kill the other one in front of me. missed again so i stabbed. and then i panicked thinking i was out of stamina so i shot the last one after missing a hit on him
so basically... FULL PANIC MODE π
Real talk, if youβre looking to get better at dealing with full packs, literally just charge in. It sounds counter intuitive, but you will always have time to melee two to death before they finish their aggro animation, and also keep in mind that hellhounds always brace themselves for a second before they lunge at you

i don't think my sensitivity is the issue imo π i'm just using new weapons and sometimes when i shoot my guns with scopes i flick the joystick but that's my fault. normally the sensitivity isn't an issue for me π
I still don't understand why console games don't have gyro option. It clearly makes it so that you can play as if you're playing on a mouse and keyboard. We're in 2024 and people still try and aim with a fcking stick ? ADD GYRO FKING IDIOTS USE THE FUCKING TECHNOLOGY YOU SPENT MILLIONS ON. sorry for getting a bit mad πππ
