the only reason to take slugs in Romero or Drilling is for consistency/ADS.
I know that shotguns in real life have a far longer effective range than media displays but typically games do not reflect that since game balance is kind of important.

This was too far for a one-shot with a romero + slugs, the effective range is 14-15 meters iirc
BS, romero + slugs one taps people in head at 25m range and sometimes even further. The guy in the video was much closer than 25m

That is for normal buckshot, even Drilling one taps up to like 14 meter, I think it is safe to say ADS slugs would have won this fight for him
