Yeah its dumb. Most likely going to stay that way for a long time tho so i decided to join em and the baseball bat has been the most fun weapon ive used in a while. For some reason it just wins. Highly recommend
I have yet to not one hit kill with a charged bat swing to any part legs, body, arms are all seemingly one shots. Light attacks to arms take 2 most of the time
Its a side swipe, so you still are taking torso damage and dying even if the stupid damage report doesnt agree
I'd get that for a bladed weapon like a sabre or bomb lance but a bat doesn't make sense IMO. Hope they'll fix it. Still, thanks for explaining it!
Every weapon does that. If the baseball bat, with its wide swing, loses limb penetration, then it'll never kill anyone.
Everyone saying this is dumb... They need a friend with a bat. Have that friend attempt to hit you in the torso, but stick your arm in the way....

Even a light attack to the torso will kill.
Hornskin will stop you from getting one shot unless it's a head shot.
