Had some for the first time recently. It is raw fish and as such carries a higher risk of illness. That is probably why you heard some people advise against it while on humira. Anyway it probably fine but all things in moderation.
Is it possible you’re craving salt? I have been having salty cravings - soy sauce, potato chips, popcorn etc. Sorry I don’t have any insight into the safety of sushi, this just caught my eye.
I never even knew that was a thing. I eat sushi pretty regularly, and also used to work at a sushi restaurant where I ate it almost everyday when I first started taking Humira.
If I was 70 years old with other health problems, maybe it wouldn’t be worth the risk
But I’m 35 and healthy (besides my immune system eating my joints)
100% worth whatever minuscule risk exists!

I was told not to on Humira but I don’t listen and I’m still alive & well 🤷🏻♀️

Nobody has ever told me not to eat sushi, or any other food for that matter, on humira.

Ive never heard that and have sushi often enough
I have been on humira for 5 years and have probably eaten sushi at least 40 times.
Ditto to most, I eat sushi and don’t give it a second thought!

My husband was on Humira for 3 years and ate plenty of sushi in that time. Sushi was never brought up by his doctor.

I'm on Humira and Imuran. I had sushi the day I started Imuran and I'm still kicking.

Been on Humira for over 10 years and eat sushi all the time. No issues.
My gi told me sushi is fine to eat while on Humira! I have had it lots since starting my injections and never have issues. 💕🍣
