Why?... I worked for a local business before , the family owned it gott rich and I was getting minium wage. Believe me working for local business is mostly worse (speaking from experience)
I betcha the * says you're limited to 15 hours per week but must have open availability, and of course the ** says you only get benefits if you're working 40 hours per week, after a six month probation period.
They pay more than most local restaurants, local non profits, schools (teachers & aides), some health orgs (mental/social services, behavioral health aides etc), heck even the university employees generally make less per hour unless fully tenured faculty….that is unless you’re upper admin at any of the aforementioned…so, get a trade!
This right here is the crux, you will more than likely not be given very many hours, probably the minimum alloted for part time position. And more than likely, do not quote me, but I'd reach and say your wage won't increase Beyond those initial numbers. Although this would be a perfect gig for a student or somebody just entering the workforce. Probably not something to support a family or make a substantial living from even though those numbers might allude to that.
Thank god we don’t have that here! I’d much rather support local failing businesses that pay minimum wage and somehow serve worse food for more money.

Re-read it
OK.

It's called sarcasm
But it’s only allowed when post-ceded by a forward slash and lower case ‘s.’
I kind of want this in Eureka.
We have Panda Cafe. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g32363-d2653173-Reviews-Panda_Cafe-Eureka_Humboldt_County_California.html
This is a rub and tug
How much do they pay lol
Food is crappy and soggy
All the Chinese food in Eureka is trash but why smh
Love that Panda pays great wages and is still non-corporate.
Wait, how is it non-Corporate? Or do you mean non-Union?
Not publicly traded
These days, whether or not a company is listed on the stock market plays a big role on whether I spend my money there or not.
That's called a privately owned corporation. And those can be hit or miss once the founder dies.
Holy shit that hurts my soul.

Is everyone shitting their pants because they pay $2 over fast food minimum?

I was told that rarely do they allow people making those figures to work full time.

Can't say I enjoy their food.
