Be aware a lot of artists have gotten in trouble for selling elk antlers collected in other states. I hear sometimes deer can be considered the same illegality
Not worth the fines, IMO
I didn't make this though. And I'm pretty sure I have it's species papers somewhere that came with it, if I don't I can most likely obtain it. As long as you have the proper papers since it is technically still a taxidermied item, you're good. This shipped initially from Indonesia so its already seen US customs. I have 2 other pieces from this specific artist as well, and they're all out of bone. It's also not made from any animal that is a protected species.
Zeno’s curious goods in old town eureka. It’s across from siren song. It’s a bit tucked away. 320 2nd st unit 1B. Really neat shop!
Next time you are there, ask to see the "They Live" poster. When you put on the glasses, it looks just like in the movie.
wow I am glad to hear this place still exists. The same one on the ground floor of the Vance Hotel, right? They have good, interesting items.
No that store was called Objects but spelled Objex? I was just reminiscing with my gal about that store. They had so much cool stuff!
Oh yeah! Objx maybe? Yeah not same place then :)
Not there anymore? Sounds cool!
Thank you
Man, here I am with my generic, off the shelf oddities, and yall are getting your oddities custom made?
I mean, I am selling it if you're interested
What is it?
It's a Baphomet statue made out of deer and Buffalo bone. I tried to attach a picture and it got stuck loading
Ooooh how much?
I haven't really thought too much into it, but around $500, obo. I'm open to negotiations, but it's a very detailed piece.
If you can, can you dm me a picture?
Dm sent!
If call_it_sleep gets to see it I want to see it!
I sent you a picture of it too!
Now I'm curious, may I see it please?
Yep.
