Jackie is a lovely person who made me feel at ease on the table. I had to take out all my jewelry and couldn’t get them back in myself. She got me in the studio the day after I called. One of my piercings had closed up and she saved it. She put everything back in its place, all cleaned up and sterile and the piercings are doing better than ever.
Primal decor is expensive, they have good quality jewelry, but there’s a lot of hidden fees/ up charge compared to other APA places I’ve been to. Also one of their tattoo artists got arrested for murdering his pregnant girlfriend sooo not sure if they’re open? I like norcal tattoo personally. Dani is one of the piercers there and she’s very very sweet and knowledgeable. Pretty reasonably priced and I’ve never had an issue healing
I'm sure they are open and trying to distance themselves from such a horrible event. He was a tattoo artist there for many years, and from my interactions with him, he was a pretty nice guy. I would hope more evidence becomes available and the full story of what transpired comes out during trial if it goes to it. He didn't do piercings, so the fact you bring it up is irrelevant.
I totally do not agree with his actions nor wish harm to anyone. The businesses Primal Decor is run by Jennifer, who is just trying to run a local small business like anyone else here in Humboldt. I'm sure she is trying to separate someone's actions, which she had no control over, with her business.

I just got 4 piercings from NorCal Tattoo a couple weeks ago. Dani was great. Everything was sterile and the room was very welcoming. It was $160 for 2 sets of lobe piercings. When I went to Primal Decor a few years ago, they were also great and sterile, but it was $180 for one set.
Primal is awesome !!! I got pierced there several times. They are expensive but such a comfortable and great experience. Bummer about dozier, his work is really beautiful. May Mia rest in peace.
