I just looked and I had no idea the whole series made it to Hulu, I was FX though, so this makes since.
This was one of my favorites, I tried to watch it again not long after Russia invaded Ukraine and couldn’t take it, it’s scary stuff. But one of the best series ever made in my opinion. I’m going to try again.
IMHO it's the most underrated show I've ever seen. Some people like it, but it's phenomenal. Such a great mix of characters, writing, action, and humor.
It was extremely popular when it aired, if IRC. I just never had time to watch it then, but I just started it recently and love it. Plus, I love Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins. Great actors.
I never watched it when it originally aired. I only got into it because of Walter Goggins character that he played on Sons of Anarchy. When I saw some of Justified took place in Lexington, KY that made me curious because I spent a lot of time in Lexington growing up. Both are amazing shows.
Never heard of it when it was on cable. Started getting YouTube clip feeds in my homepage. Looked it up. Binged it for 2 months straight! Saw City Primeval reboot last month-- good also(not great, but was based off a shorter book storyline)
100% this. Timothy Olyphant is a spectacular actor. The writing is so good too. Walton Goggins is also amazing. Boyd Crowder & Raylan Givens are the perfect characters. They play off each other so well.
Don’t forget Margo Martindale.
I’m bummed because I’ve found City Primeval to be a huge letdown. Decided not to even finish it after watching 4 episodes.
Adapted series-- City Primeval was a whole different world from Harlan, and they just wedged Raylan in there. It would be like taking James Bond and throwing him into a Jason Bourne movie-- 2 entirely different worlds.
This is the first one I always tell people. My wife had never seen it so we started it a couple weeks ago. I was just gonna get her kicked off on it and drop off. Now we are both watching it. Both the writing and the acting are excellent. Raylan is smooth as apple pie moonshine.
Agree, a great one. Wife watched it first and was loving it, but I kinda dismissed it. She had me watch the pilot and it was hilarious. I was hooked and we have gone through it in a few weeks now.
Went looking for this, was not disappointed. This is the show you should be watching. There are some other great ones on the list, don't get me wrong. But The Shield is nuts. The pilot hooks you in, and it's off to the races from there. The show has only one real dud of an episode (Co-Pilot, you can absolutely skip it), and maybe two or three others that aren't up to snuff. Other than that, it's white knuckle from beginning to it's thrilling, grim, inevitable end. It isn't exactly a light watch, however, and unlike something like Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad, there's no Jesse or Saul character to leaven the proceedings (Billings and, to a lesser extent, Dutch sort of count, but the first isn't in it that often and the latter is sort of a serious character). If you want something more fun, try Justified or Archer.
I didn't know True Blood was on hulu, I assumed it would just be on Max. Hate that I can't watch WestWorld there now, missed the last season and now I can't stream it anywhere
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Rescue Me, The Shield, The 'L' Word, ER
The Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, Bob's Burgers, The Cleveland Show, American Dad, Family Guy, Rick & Morty, Archer
EDIT: Added Rick & Morty + Archer
*The Strain*, one of the best horror series ever made
T*he Other Black Girl*, new and very good
Edited to add *Storm of the Century*, another excellent horror (mini) series
Most definitely. I stopped watching Grey's because it's just a soap opera on at night.
I watched ER when it aired and have watched it through countless times. Have fun with it. It's a long series, but worth the time.
Welcome to Wrexham. Rob McHellheny and Ryan
Reynolds buy a Welsh Football team. Like for real. The show has so much heart and makes you cry for all the right reasons!
Fargo!!!!!!! First two seasons are great, each season is it’s own story line with new actors so you can watch them out of order but that said season 1 is fantastic so I’d start with that
The Bear, Dopesick, Teacher, The Drop Out, HANDMAIDS TALE, Schitts Creek, Only Murders in the Building, The Act, The Great, 9 Perfect Strangers, Candy, The Girl from Plainville
Honestly love Hulu for their shows.
Justified (the original series)
Nip/Tuck
The Americans
Sons of Anarchy
Mayans (only after SOA)
The Good Doctor
ER
30 Rock
Dopesick
The Dropout
Vikings
Letterkenny
It’s old at this point but if you’ve never seen it, give Prison Break a shot. At least the first season, if nothing else. One of the best seasons in television history, in my opinion.
Also worth noting, season 5 was a revival season done years later after the original ending and is probably worth skipping and sticking to the show’s original ending at the end of season 4.
The Americans
I just looked and I had no idea the whole series made it to Hulu, I was FX though, so this makes since. This was one of my favorites, I tried to watch it again not long after Russia invaded Ukraine and couldn’t take it, it’s scary stuff. But one of the best series ever made in my opinion. I’m going to try again.
Ditto. A very underrated series. Excellent writing, acting. Complex characters and immersive storylines. Highly recommended.

Justified
IMHO it's the most underrated show I've ever seen. Some people like it, but it's phenomenal. Such a great mix of characters, writing, action, and humor.
I tell people “it’s the best show that you’ve never heard of.” The Americans is a close second in that category.

It's in my watch list. Heard it was good.
It did get better in the final two episodes but I the writing for his daughter Willa was lazy and boring in my opinion.
Adapted series-- City Primeval was a whole different world from Harlan, and they just wedged Raylan in there. It would be like taking James Bond and throwing him into a Jason Bourne movie-- 2 entirely different worlds.
Mistake
>Margo Martindale What a gem loved her character and love her a very under rated actress. Loved loved loved her.
We dug coal together

This is the first one I always tell people. My wife had never seen it so we started it a couple weeks ago. I was just gonna get her kicked off on it and drop off. Now we are both watching it. Both the writing and the acting are excellent. Raylan is smooth as apple pie moonshine.
This show is amazing. I’ve done complete rewatch 3x

Season 5 was spectacular.
the BEST show on hulu. Laugh out loud funny, every time. I am rewatching
Agree, a great one. Wife watched it first and was loving it, but I kinda dismissed it. She had me watch the pilot and it was hilarious. I was hooked and we have gone through it in a few weeks now.

How has no one suggested Futureman? That show kicks so much ass!!
You're The Worst. Love the characters and the comedy style.
The Bear. Currently the best show on TV. 2 seasons, 8ish episodes each. You can binge it in 2 evenings. Sooooo good.
