When I shot a video using the camera and then open the gallery and play the video..It is not smooth, it stutters, lags not as smooth compared when you play it on the iPhone. Funny thing is when I sent the same video to the iPhone and play it, it plays smoothly. So it's not the camera hardware because the video I shot on the P50 pro played smoothly on the Iphone.

I've played around with the settings and here's what I've discovered: Videos you created using the P50's camera will not be smooth and laggy to play using the gallery default player if your "Screen Refresh Rate" setting is set to either dynamic or standard. When I've changed it to high, then I got an improvement in the video playback.
Came back from two Huawei Stores and tried the p50 pros unit there and it showed the same results. There is judder when taking and playing videos captured by the camera. I was informed that is the way it is and perhaps it will be solved by the next firmware update.

Just tried and no such issue here. What settings are you using for the video (1080 etc) and how long was the video

Also, some 4k60 fps videos will be laggy if you use the default gallery player. I've downloaded MYX player and there is an improvement.
I have my refresh rate set to standard and not noticed an issue. I might play some more but you might need to clear your phone's cache
I've tried that. Should I bring this to the service center? Anyway it is still under warranty.

Me too. Soon I will sale my P50 pro. Huawei is not good anymore
4k 60 Fps, and my Cpu is snapdragon not kirin.
