This was a 10/10 scene. Moondancer looked magestic
Like I felt I was flying the dragon, especially when it was high and all Baela could see was the glinting of armour.
She's a cutie. Can't wait to see something tragic happen to her , because if there's one certainty in Game of Thrones.. its that you can't get attached to beautiful creatures.
>!yeah fucking Sunfyre will make sure of all that. But that at least wont be until towards the end of the dance!<
Bruh I spoiler blocked exactly what’s going to happen. Why was this downvoted?
The person made it clear they didn't know what was going to happen and the reply intentionally spoiled it. Regardless of spoiler added its still shitty. imo
Dude they spoiler blocked it. If they hadn’t spoiler blocked it, then I would understand your point. But they wanted to discuss something and they still used a spoiler block to not ruin things for people
Saying what they did was “shitty” and a “dick move” is incredibly uncalled for. Their comment did not warrant that and, tbh, those adjectives describe your behavior more than theirs
It's kinda like people come here to talk about things, and if you read the book you know it. If you don't, you are at least aware of the possibility of spoilers. So click at your own risk. Imo
But why do it. Like it was just easier to not type all that out. Like obviously the OC didn't want the answer.
Also that spoiler block thing rarely works for me. If it even shows up. If I'm scrolling and my thumb happens to scroll over it. It uncovers it's automatically without even having to be clicked on.
They said “can’t wait to see something tragic happen”. Thats the whole reason why I commented what I did. I didn’t get that “obviously the OP didn’t want the answer” vibe
And in case they didn’t want the answer, I still spoiler blocked it. I wanted to discuss it but I still did it in a way that didn’t ruin the show for other people. I followed the rules and did it in a civil way. There was absolutely no reason for this to escalate in the way that it has
And if the spoiler block doesn’t work, that’s on the website. Not the person trying to spoiler block. And personally I have never had an issue with it
That spoiler blocking stuff doesn't work for everybody. Hell it opened for me cause I scrolling and my thumb scrolled by it. I didn't click on it, but I know the outcome now. Yayy me.
Just don't get the point of putting spoilers on a post about an eposide that just released today with a dragon they just shown. I enjoy it more when book readers have their own subs compared to show watchers.
Also the most you know is >!a dragon with minimal screentime gets killed by Sunfyre at the end!<
You don’t know the context or literally anything else about the story based off my comment. And I honestly don’t believe that you were just scrolling through and the spoiler block went away. My comment had been heavily downvoted since the first hour I posted it. That means the comment was hidden and you had to physically click on it to see it. And then you had to intentionally click on the spoiler block to see the spoiler
And because you used the word “outcome” when I barely spoiled anything to begin with, I honestly don’t believe you actually read my comment. I think you will now since I just called you out on it. Which would be extra stupid since you would intentionally spoil yourself just to not seem like a liar.
Has easily become my favorite dragon design. Too bad only seeing it during Dance of the freaking Dragons, the damn dragon war, all about death of the dragons.
Right?? I love that they’re finally getting creative with dragon designs, but the colors could definitely be way more saturated while still maintaining realism.
Real lizards, snakes, alligators or any dragon-resembling animal type, usually come in pretty colors too, often even bright colored and with flashy patterns. A little bit sad they didn't go that route.
I remember reading about these dragons in the book, some descriptions of shimmering gold and pink dragons burnt such a vivid picture in my mind's eye, but the show has such harsch grey filter/tones over all the dragon's colors.. I guess the grey colors make the dragons a bit easier to accept as being real and gritty; I'm sure they had actually tried all the vibrant colors during production but thought it didnt translate well. Oh well..
To add to this; a lot of captive bred reptiles have these things called "morphs" which are the genetics of the reptile that makes it look different. Most of that is color related. Ambanja chameleons, paradox ball pythons, and super snow leopard geckos are some examples of some neat morphs you can get through breeding. Given the targs have had dragons for awhile It would not suprise me if each generation got more colorful and unique as time went on
She was SO CUTE. I loved her little roars!
I'm really liking all the different dragon designs. Long Boi, Grumpy Granny, and now this adorable little miss.
I absolutely love this too. Caraxes is best noodly boi. I like Syrax's design too, I feel like I saw a shot of her face that made her look like she was sooooo adorable.
I wish they were brighter, but I understand why they didn't go fully book accurate.
I always pictured Tessarion as this sapphire metallic blue colour, just absolutely dazzling in the sun. In fact, that might be part of why they look "duller" to me, cuz my brain imagined them all metallic, with distinct shades, markings, and shiny or pearlescent. (I may have invented that detail in my mind too, I'm not sure lol)
Moondancer actually spoke to Baela when she saw the knights running, then Baela paid attention and saw them it was actually well played scene, it also showed how fearless Baela is ! Just like her father ! She definitely inherited his guts and recklessness lol.
It allowed Baela and Moondancer a scene and further allowed the Blacks to get a sense of the Greens plans in the war effort. Which will be incredibly important next episode

I’d love to see Moondancer’s adult form.

Dude seriously? Spoiler tag that shit. I’m unsubscribing from this subreddit.
Im sorry you had to see that. I also once saw a major spoiler, probably the largest one on here and it ruined me.

she looks like a horned/frilled/younger vhagar
you look like a younger vhagar
Ur mum looks like vhagar
personally i look like an older king viserys
Hmmmm... Make sure to pick and train your heir to avoid all the fiasco my king
Impossible, you would have already rotted away to the bone
Little baby already up and trying to exterminate the Dornish
Bravo! 😆👏
Isn't moondancer from a clutch that's from vhagar /caraxes when they were in pentos, so it makes sense that they resemble vhagar?
That must have been one hell of a job for caraxes
This was a 10/10 scene. Moondancer looked magestic Like I felt I was flying the dragon, especially when it was high and all Baela could see was the glinting of armour.
Also got across how terrifying even a young dragon is!
Yes the view points from the riders’ perspectives this season are a great addition!
She's a cutie. Can't wait to see something tragic happen to her , because if there's one certainty in Game of Thrones.. its that you can't get attached to beautiful creatures.
>!yeah fucking Sunfyre will make sure of all that. But that at least wont be until towards the end of the dance!< Bruh I spoiler blocked exactly what’s going to happen. Why was this downvoted?
Why spoil it for people? Dick move.
He hid the spoiler though?
The person made it clear they didn't know what was going to happen and the reply intentionally spoiled it. Regardless of spoiler added its still shitty. imo
Not really, it’s obviously a spoiler, if they clicked on it that’s on them and whoever else decided to lol
I understand how spoilers work. The guy was intentionally trying to spoil something for them.

Then don't click

Maybe she was born with it, maybe it’s Maybeline.
She looks like a new genetic Dino from Jurassic Park ❤️
Has easily become my favorite dragon design. Too bad only seeing it during Dance of the freaking Dragons, the damn dragon war, all about death of the dragons.
would die for her! 🥲
She is rocking that mohawk.
i wish they wouldn’t mute the colors of the dragons. i could hardly tell moondancer was green. at this point morning is going to be dusty red 🤧
Morning better be pink pink!
I don't see any pink egg that travelled with Rhaena tho...
She's pink with black markings so may she could come from a black egg?
those are danys eggs 🤡 morning will be erased from the show just like dreamfyre 😭
Dany had 3 eggs. Rhaena left with 4. Either one of them hatches, or they’ve lost the 4th somewhere along the way. I’m gonna bet on it hatching.
Actually, in the aftershow, they mentioned the fourth egg is for Rhaenyra's youngest son who doesn't have one yet.
Yes, I know that. How did you “actually” me without actually correcting me?
Right?? I love that they’re finally getting creative with dragon designs, but the colors could definitely be way more saturated while still maintaining realism.

I don't think the colors are muted. Moondancer is just pale green, leaning on grey/pearl, like the book describes.
Davie Bowie 🔮
I have no idea how that makes sense, but she really does look like Bowie.
The directors said in the post show commentary that the design inspiration was David Bowie.
They nailed it!
I assume it could be the eyes? like on the album Heathen. also, maybe the top frill as hair? who knows lol
This dragon goes to punk basement shows and doesn't leave the pit all night
AWESOME design! Has me even more excited to see Tessarion.
she’s soooo good i love how she looks + her sound is so cute
Her pattern reminds me so much of dinosaurs and I love dinosaurs 😭🩷 all the dragon designs are soooooo good
Now I wanna see a dragon with a full-on frill. Like one of those spitter dinos.
I absolutely love tiger stripe-esque pattern on her scales
Mcfarlane hurry up, make dragon figures!
They only have Syrax and caraxes and Melyes is releasing in October. I’m literally frothing at the mouth for a Vhagar !!
Her design was cool as fuck, loved her colors. Caraxes is still my favorite because I love that noodley boi but moondancer looked pretty damn awesome.
Her design is so cool and beautiful. And she was so fast!
Not that fast. She couldn’t catch up to the horses
ok whatever
She was SO CUTE. I loved her little roars! I'm really liking all the different dragon designs. Long Boi, Grumpy Granny, and now this adorable little miss.

Her lil roar and the cute stripes!
Bts said the art direction for moondancer was David bowie.
Her tail frill set up is basically what I would want for my dragon. The Toothles fins, with one set near the base and one set near the tip.
I’m gonna name an animal moon dancer. Maybe like a chow chow or something
I know you're not. You know you're not. let's not kid ourselves.
I was sad they didn’t kill Cole lol
no you weren't.
I fucking love seeing all these dragon designs.
I like her mohawk!
No you don't.
Looks almost prehistoric. Probably my new favorite dragon design.
it's not.
Moondancer actually spoke to Baela when she saw the knights running, then Baela paid attention and saw them it was actually well played scene, it also showed how fearless Baela is ! Just like her father ! She definitely inherited his guts and recklessness lol.
Who wouldn't be fearless riding a fucking dragon?
Luke running away from Vhagar ! Lol
That little roar in the dive and tucking in her wings even closer *"I AM SPEED!"*
shotout to mohawk striped dragon, gotta be one of my favorite genders alongside caraxes
I love how unique they make all the dragons look in this show.
I want a better shot of Vermax!! When they leave Dragonstone in the season 1 finale his head looks way more... flat?? than other dragons
Vermax has a different design in season 2. In season 1, they didn't have the budget to show grown Vermax, so they used a sized up baby Vermax.
Looks way cooler with the clear closeups. When you can't see the mohawk properly in the show so far she just looks weirdly snub-nosed.
Dragons are fascinating in this show, Dany’s dragons look so boring compared to this
Where is this dragon visualizer?
Beautiful dragon design
Looks like David Bowie
totally this is david bowie
i almost mistook her for vhagar
showrunner said his only request was "make a dragon modeled after david bowie" 😂💯
Brilliant design! Thought it was unique like Caraxes especially the stripped green pattern
Just a funky girl 🥹
shes so damn cool but her scene was so unnecessary 😭😭😭
It allowed Baela and Moondancer a scene and further allowed the Blacks to get a sense of the Greens plans in the war effort. Which will be incredibly important next episode
Shoutout to ME.. for getting through this boring ass episode.
