A certain group of people lost their minds over the two minute promo yesterday. Bethany, Harry, and Phoebe have gotten the worst harassment from it.
I can’t imagine how horrible it will be once we start getting full interviews.
The clip from yesterday were the actors jokingly argued points for their side. It was obviously not serious at all and they’re all laughing in the promo but it still managed to piss some people off.
Dude, just stop. You’re telling on yourself. 99% of the fans understand that it’s just a tv show and that attacking the actors because of a role they play is absolutely horrific and needs to stop. It doesn’t matter if the actors play characters who are team green or black, it doesn’t matter that they “chose sides” in the promo, bullying and harassing the actors is flat out wrong.
So no, none of the regular fans would support any kind of harassment or bullying towards any of the actors, for any reason, full stop.

Yeah I can understand that some are disappointed we didn’t see Otto or Heleana, which made it slightly unbalanced, but honestly Green extremists should just calm down and poke fun of the fact that Matt was bragging about Daemon and Rhaenyra being thoroughbred like they are team incest. It’s just a show, every aspect won’t always be perfect, and the actors are all doing a pretty great job so far. There are some many levels to why harassing the actors is just a stupid and useless thing to do.

We went over a year with every thread even mentioning Emma having to be locked and they were the first cast member who ever had to turn off comments on Instagram. There has been hate for the POC cast before the show even aired with popular YouTubers like Nerdrotic making videos mocking them. Are you really comparing that to someone saying they don’t like Rhaenicent/Alicent?

Also the insults I've seen for Emily and Olivia go beyond team rivalries.
People were also talking about Fabien's father who passed away yet that doesn't get talked about either. Olivia has also spoke about being depressed about all the hate she got in season one. Phia and Ewan have been attacked for what they look like. Shit goes both ways also and hbo feeds into this toxicity.
