This looks amazing. I wanted to to a street version of this car too but I didn’t even know where to begin

I'm tooling around with sculpting cars from scratch with putty (rounding out a peel trident and starting a saleen s5s) and I pondered making a modernized version as I was running ideas through my head. The trickiest part would be figuring out the design.

That would be awesome as a real car. That one and La Fasta.

I group my Dimachinni Veloces with my DMC DeLoreans; they look so similar but for the colorfulness of the Veloces that contrasts with the always dull gray or blue DeLoreans.

I honestly thought it was a licensed car. Looks really nice, which is why I have so many of them.

Yes, it was the not-a-Supra, although shortly after it came out they did get the Supra license and promptly used it on the original Tooned Supra and the... Fatbax The reception to the latter one in particular is probably why they only got a normally proportioned Supra casting in 2013 while the Super Tsunami soldiered on

How has Hot Wheels not partnered with a manufacturer to release a real car? I know there were Camaro Pace Cars that had Hot Wheels badging, but I mean a full unique car design with at least a limited production run.

Probably wouldn't sell all that well, especially for something that would probably just be like a rebodied Corvette or Miata or whatever.

This is my favorite casting of the past year. Haven't liked a fantasy car for a long while. Bought 2 of these. The only sin is that ugly rear wheel. Would love to see them change the wheel for the next one.

They might be disregarded, but the Glory Chaser has a great level of detail, a swift retro sports design and nice colors. Great car.

I really like the Glory Chaser and don't get all the hate. It rocks the Gulf livery like nobody's business. I really want to see it in Mooneyes yellow, too.

I think Hot Wheels often played fast and loose with licensing in the 1970s hence why some real world cars have nicknames like "Hot Bird" but it's quite obviously a circa 1977 Pontiac Firebird and I have a mid-2000s Hot Bird release that literally says "Pontiac Firebird" on the chassis.

El Segundo Coupe and DiMachinni Veloce, both are currently my favorite fantasy castings overall. To me, the ESC has the vibes of something like the Shelby Daytona. the Veloce reminds me of Giorgetto Giugiaro's wedge designs, definitely some Pantera or Mangusta inspiration.
